In fact, many foods that we often eat are thought to cause cancer, such as pickles(咸菜), areca palms(檳榔) and so on.

Although these foods may bring cancer, it doesn't mean a person will get cancer just because of eating them. Cancer is caused by many different factors, such as one's genes, environment, lifestyles and eating habits. As long as one has a balanced diet, he doesn't need to avoid cancercausing foods entirely.
