【題目】---I believe this is the best movie of the year.
---Well, . Anyway, the ending is OK.
A.that’s a good ideaB.I agree with you.
C.I’m not sure if you’re rightD.I think you’re right
【答案】C
【解析】
句意:--我認(rèn)為這是今年最好的電影。 --哦,我不確定你說的是否正確。不管怎樣,結(jié)局不錯。
考查情景交際。that’s a good idea是個好主意;I agree with you.我同意你說的;I’m not sure if you’re right我不確定你說的是否正確。I think you’re right我認(rèn)為你是對的。根據(jù)“Anyway, the ending is OK”可知,上文認(rèn)為電影是本年最棒的,下文表示結(jié)局只是還不錯,可以推測出下文對上文的觀點(diǎn)不是很確定,故選C。

【題目】 Lanterns have been part of Chinese culture for centuries and play an important part in many celebrations. In ancient times, there were mainly three kinds of lanterns
Palace lantern
It was mainly used in palaces in ancient times. When making palace lanterns fine wood was used. The palace lanterns were covered with silk or glass. Different kinds of pictures were drawn on the covers. These lanterns were not only used as lights but also as decorations (裝飾)in palaces.
Gauze lantern (紗燈)
Less expensive bamboo and gauze were used to cover the lantern. Red gauze was used when making them. In Chinese culture, red lanterns stand for (代表)happiness. So red lanterns are always hung (懸掛)on important festivals such as Lantern Festival, Spring Festival and National Day in parks or along main streets. In some famous Chinatowns abroad, you can see red lanterns all the year round. They have become a symbol of Chinese culture worldwide.
Shadow picture lantern (走馬燈)
It was usually used for amusement (娛樂).The shape was much like that of the palace lanterns. There were two layers (層)of covers and pictures were drawn on the inside layer. When lit (被點(diǎn)燃),the heat caused a paper wheel inside the lantern to turn around, so that moving pictures appeared on the outside cover.
Now more kinds of lanterns appear in festivals besides the traditional ones. More modem technology is used on making lanterns. The shapes of the modem lanterns have changed a lot too.

【題目】 Instead of gobbling(狼吞虎咽) your food, try eating more slowly. It may help you drop those unwanted pounds. The conclusion is from a new study by Chinese researcher.
The study showed that compared with people who gobbled their food, those who ate at a normal speed were 29 percent less likely to be obese(肥胖的). But those who ate slowly were up to 42 percent less likely to obese. In addition, people who ate slowly tended (往往會) to be healthier and have a healthier lifestyle than those who ate quickly or at a normal speed. “However, this study could not prove that speed eating causes or stops obesity,” the researcher noted.
“Slow eating has its advantages and a few disadvantages ,” said Samantha Heller from New York City. “On the one hand, slow eating gives our body time to register a sense of satisfaction and fullness, so we eat less. We are more likely to enjoy a taste of food. On the other hand, the longer people sit in front of food, the more food they will eat, ”she said.
“Speed eating appears to be far more harmful. People who eat quickly, as many of us do, gobble far more food than they need. In many European countries, slow eating is a way of life,” Heller said. In America, speed eating takes the lead. Thus we need to encourage people to have a change, learn the way of slower eating from Europeans and get a true enjoyment of food.

【題目】 When I was in college, a white cat liked to show up on our campus at times. It was clear that he was a stray (流浪的) cat because he looked thin and weak. Students would play with him after class and feed him all kinds of food. The school didn’t say anything about the cat for a long time.
But one day, we were told that one of the students had an infectious (傳染性的) disease. and that the cat was possibly the source(起源). After that, we were not allowed to touch any stray animals on campus. The school started to make efforts to keep animals off campus as well.
Since we were not allowed to feed the white cat, it was hard for him to find food on the street. He became weak and skinny. But while the rest of us ignored (忽視) the cat, a security guard (保安) at our school decided to take on the responsibility of caring for him. He took the cat to an animal hospital for a health check. He then went to a nearby supermarket and bought food for the cat, as well as a small bed for him to sleep in. He made sure the cat was healthy and comfortable.
It might seem like a small effort to some people. But this man risked his job – his only source of income - just to feed a tiny cat who no one else cared for. It was a very heartwarming thing to see.
根據(jù)短文內(nèi)容,回答下列問題。
【1】When did the students play with the white cat?
【2】Who had an infectious disease?
【3】How was the cat when it was hard for him to find food?
【4】Where was the cat taken to before he got the food and the bed?
【5】What did the writer think of the security guard’s behavior about the stray cat?
