Suddenly it rained heavily, and the flood covered all the land. The hare had to stand on the rooftop, feeling hopeless. At the critical time, the tortoise appeared and rescued him. The hare felt very sorry for what he had done, but the tortoise forgave him. Finally they became very good friends.
