然則孰為其人，而能盡公與是歟？非畜道德而能文章者，無(wú)以為也。蓋有道德者之于惡人，則不受而銘之，于眾人則能辨焉。而人之行，有情善而跡非，有意奸而外淑，有善惡相懸而不可以實(shí)指，有實(shí)大于名，有名侈于實(shí)。猶之用人，非畜道德者惡作辨之不惑，議之不徇？不惑不徇，則公且是矣。而其辭之不工，則世猶不傳。于是又在其文章兼勝焉。故曰：非畜道德而能文章者，無(wú)以為也。豈非然哉？
