Mount Huang is in the south of Anhui Province. It was not called Mount Huang until 747 AD，and was given that name because of an old story about Huang Di. He was the ancestor(祖先) of the Chinese people，and made magic immortality pills(藥丸) there. It was thought that after taking the magic pills，people would live forever.

There are five famous Chinese mountains. We call them the Wuyue.
