My name is Oliver. I’m a British boy. In the middle of my summer vacation, my family and I flew to visit my grandma in Maine, a state about 3,000 miles away from Los Angeles. The town she lives in is small and pretty with many local boutique shops ( 精品店). Her house is right on a lake, and we went swimming and kayaking ( 劃皮劃艇) with her in the water. In her little hidden town, the whole family usually go to walk in nature, lay under the stars and most importantly, they live a happy and quiet life.

I am looking forward to the winter vacation because my grandma is going to come over and stay with us for some time. I am sure my house will light up while she is here.
