Once a rich woman invited（邀請(qǐng)）Martin Brown, a famous（著名的）singer, to her house. She wanted him to sing for her friends. But she didn’t invite him to have dinner with them. She told him to eat downstairs with the servants（仆人）.

　　“Yes, Madam. ”said the singer.

　　I was born in New York, but I grew up in Sam Francisco. I began to live in London 25 years ago. If I am asked now where I want to live forever, I would say London. But will always be American.
