Recently I have had a discussion about the ways to learn English better with Jim, a student from Britain. In his opinion, the best ways are reading English newspapers and talking with friends. He also believes that sometimes seeing English films isn't a bad way.

I quite agree with him. However, I think, we can make flashcards. In this way , we can memorize a lot of English words. Besides, we can look for a pen pal from an English-speaking country so that we can get to know something about his or her country. Finally, learning English grammar well is also a great help.
