【題目】天津市2015年中考英語試題--- Could you tell me the way ______ the railway station?

--- Go along this road and soon you’ll find it.

A. at B. to C. in D. between

【答案】B

【解析】

試題分析:句意:—你能告訴我去火車站的路嗎?—沿著這條路走,你將會看見它。Could you do?你能做某事嗎?這里的could不是指過去發(fā)生的動作,是用could表示委婉的語氣。at在;to向;in在……里;between在……之間。the way to“去……的路”。故選B。

【題目】

Four years ago, Chinese skater Wu Dajing, 23, introduced himself to the skating world by winning a silver medal(獎牌)at the Sochi Olympic Winter Games.

At this year's PyeongChang Olympics, Wu not only returned, but also made history.

On Feb. 22, 2018, Wu won the gold medal in the men's short-track(短道)500-meter race. He set a new world record with a time of 39. 584 seconds. He also became the first Chinese to take home an Olympic short-track gold medal.

“I didn't give them a chance and I kept my speed from the start.” he told the media(媒體)after the match.

But China's short-track teams didn't do well in general at the Games. Chinese skaters in the women's 500 meters, 3,000-meter relay(接力)and men's 1,500 meters all failed to take home the gold. Wu was China's biggest hope, which put a lot of pressure on him. But he proved himself.

Wu is now known as a highly talented(天賦高的)skater. But things were not always that way. When Wu joined the national team in 2010, he was seen as almost "nothing" compared to gifted skaters, as his coaches said at the time. Their words made him quite upset. But as the saying goes,"Winners never quit and quitters never win." Wu worked as hard as he could. He practiced skating all year-round. He even didn't return to his hometown for the holidays for 10 years.

C.the women's short-track 500 metersD.the men's short-track 500-meter race

3Why did Wu Dajing feel the stress at the PyeongChang Olympics?

A.Because he was a highly talented skater.

B.Because I kept my speed from the start.

C.Because the other Chinese skaters failed.

D.Because he did not prove himself well.

4When Wu joined the national team in 2010, he was considered that ____________.

The way to see water's temperature

Here's how to tell whether a glass contains(容納)hot water or cold water-without ever touching it!

You'll need

2 drinking glasses that are exactly alike

Ice cubes(塊)

Adult helper

Bathtub(浴缸)or shower

Pencil and paper

1.Fill one glass with cold tap water and cool it with ice cubes. Don't use a lot of ice; just cool it a little.

2.Fill the other glass with very hot water.

3.Pour both glasses out into the tub at the same tirme and speed.

Repeat this process(過程)a fewtimes, and watch closely each time.

4.Ask your helper to fill the glasses again and not tell you which is which.

When you see the water splash in the tub.guess which one is the hot water.

5. Repeat several times. Keep score on your paper.

You should be able to guess correctly more than half the time.

Cold water is more dense(稠密的)than hot water.so a cup of cold water is just a little bit heavier than a cup of hot water.

When you pour hot water onto a hard surface,it splashes(濺起)around more than the cold water because it's less dense.
