I arrived at the 57th St. Subway Station in New York City at about 10 p.m. one evening on my way home. The platform(站臺)is long and there weren't many people around. I could hear the weak sound of a violin. A few weeks later, I read an article in the New York Sunday Times that a talented young violinist had been "discovered" playing in the Subway Station and there was a picture of our 57th St. violinist. He had been offered a job with the orchestra of the New York City Opera.
