【題目】閱讀理解
Some countries are better than others at looking after the environment. In Europe, Germany(德國(guó)) and northern European countries work very hard to improve the environment. The people in Germany put their rubbish into different bags—paper in one bag, plastic in another bag, etc. There are laws that do not allow people to burn too much coal.
In the 1970s, as people learned more about environmental problems, the “Green” movement(運(yùn)動(dòng)) began and soon spread all over Europe. The “Green” movement tries to get governments to protect the environment. It collects information about how industry is damaging(毀壞) the environment and tells newspapers.

Different Stresses As a Teenager
As a teenager, there are so many stresses in your life and so many things are changing . For example, your body is changing. When you observe yourself changing, you may not always be happy with what you see. Remember that everyone goes through these changes. Be proud of your body because it’s bringing you closer to being an adult.
Another difficulty that a teenager faces is how to deal with social groups. You want to fit in but sometimes it’s difficult to break into certain groups. In this case, you can speak to members of the group individually(分別地)and if they accept you, great; if not, leave it alone. If you try too hard to get into a group, they’ll be more likely to refuse you more, for fun. What’s more, it’s better to stay with those who like the way you are.
Teenagers may also have stresses in school. Teachers are going to prepare you for the outside world, which means you’ll have more schoolwork. At this time, you’d better take a step back and relax. After all, they just want you to succeed. In the real world, no one will tell you what to do, so take your time and make good use of it. If you have any problems, you can share them with your teacher.
Besides all the requirements at school, you may have more at home. If your parents have high expectations for you, you may feel stress from different areas. But remember they just want the best for you. If your parents aren’t interested in how your study is or who your friends are, you can find another adult like a teacher to believe in. If you get support from people you trust, your hard times will be over.

In 1826, a Frenchman named Niepce needed pictures for his business. But he was not a good artist. So he invented a very simple camera. He put it in a window of his house and took a picture of his garden. That was the first photo.
The next important date in the history of photography was in 1837. That year, Daguerre, another Frenchman, took a picture of his reading room. He used a new kind of camera in a different way. In his picture you could see everything very clearly, even the smallest thing. This kind of photo was called a Daguerreotype.
Soon, other people began to use Daguerre’s way. Travellers brought back wonderful photos from all around the world. People took pictures of famous buildings, cities and mountains.
In about 1840, photography was developed. Then photographers could take pictures of people
and moving things. That was not simple. The photographers had to carry a lot of films and other machines. But this did not stop them, for example, some in the United States worked even harder.
Mathew Brady was a famous American photographer. He took many pictures of great people. The pictures were unusual because they were very lifelike.
Photography also became one kind of art by the end of the 19th century. Some photos were not just copies of the real world. They showed feelings, like other kinds of art.
