Wendy lived with her parents, Mr and Mrs Darling, and her brothers, John and Michael, at number 14 (the house number on their street).
The children had a nurse because the neighbours’ children had nurses, and Mr. Darling wanted to be like his neighbours. But the family was poor so their nurse wasn’t like other children’s nurses. She was a big dog and her name was Nana.

Don’t worry, Be happy If I were a bird, I’d fly up high, Above the clouds, up in the sky. I’d float and sing and soar and play, Without any worries to ruin my day. If I were a dolphin, I’d splash in the sea, And drive and flip--what fun for me! I’d play with friends under the sea so blue. There’d be no chores or homework to do. If I were a bear, I’d sleep all day, And then wake up at night to play. I’d fish and run and jump and climb, With no one around to ruin my good time. | If I were a dog, during the day I’d rest, So when my master came home, I’d be at my best-- Ready to run or play ball or catch, Ready to jump, roll over, or fetch. Welcome to the Gale Hills Town Hall for tonight’s special community meeting. My name is Sarah Wattle. Tonight we will discuss wind power. This is very important to our town- a company wants to build wind turbines in Gale hills.I know that some of you want these wind turbines to be built, and some of you don’t. So I thought it would be best if we heard from the experts(專家), Dave and Eva. After their talk, we should have a better understanding about wind power and can decide what we want for Gale Hills.

For example, if you have a bad day, a good friend should listen to your complaints(抱怨) and do their best to help. Second, To make a friend, you cannot be too shy. But things cannot always be happy. Even the best friends have fights. What should you do when you have a fight with your friend? You have to talk to them. When there is no one around, have an honest talk. If he or she doesn't want to talk, you could write a letter.
there are three steps to being friends again: Tell him or her how you are feeling; say what
