We are checking out the top three songs in the Billboard chart（美國(guó)單曲排行榜）ending this week.

The third place goes to One Republic with “Counting Stars”. This song has already hit number one in the United Kingdom. But how high has One Republic risen in its US homeland? Well, they haven’t had a US number one single yet. Back in 2007, their first single “Apologize” reached the second place, while hitting number one in more than a dozen countries.

The second place comes Lorde with another former（以前的）title-holder（冠軍保持者）, “Royals”.

Up at number one is a famous partner Eminem and Rihanna with “The Monster”. How many times have they worked together? If you said twice, you’re wrong. This is their fourth. You probably remember their huge 2010 hit “Love The Way You Lie” and they also sang together “Love The Way You Lie (Part II)”. Finally, the pair worked together on “Numb”, which appears on Rihanna’s latest album（唱片）Unapologetic.

When Amelia opened the door, she was very surprised. Instead of seeing a human outside, she found a small creature（生物）with very large ears.

“That’s terrible. Every child should listen to their parents. After all, parents teach you good and bad habits for life, including manners. They do not just teach you about the right food to eat, but also about things like time management and having proper schedules. If you don’t have these things, then your life will be in a mess. You won’t be able to make right decisions. Then there are not things like honesty and thankfulness. Developing these is as important as proper hygiene（衛(wèi)生）and taking exercise,” said Amelia.

Mr. Sun is in the hot seat for stealing a woman’s seat on a high-speed train on Aug 21, 2018.

A video online showed the man, Sun, taking a window seat in a second-class coach（車廂）of a train from Jinan to Beijing on Tuesday and refusing to give it to the woman who had the seat on her ticket.

“You have three choices — stand, take my seat or go to the dining coach,” Sun told the young woman in the video. According to the tickets, Sun’s seat was one row behind the woman’s. Sun refused to return to his own seat, saying that he couldn’t stand up. When asked by a train worker why he did not stand up, he answered “I did not know how”. He kept his words even after the train arrived at his stop, requiring train workers to find a wheelchair for him. Clearly, he did not need one when getting on the train. Later, the woman was led to the business-class coach where she was given a better seat for the trip.

The video quickly spread online. Many internet users criticized（批評(píng)）Sun for his actions. Some even dug up his name, education and work history and posted the information online. In the end, Sun was fined 200 yuan and will not be allowed to buy train tickets for 180 days.

This punishment was based on rules for dealing with troublesome passengers set out by railway authorities（政府部門）. The rules came into use on May 1, 2018. According to the rules, passengers who disturb（擾亂）public order will be fined up to 500 yuan and be prevented from buying train tickets for some time.

However, more things like this have still happened, pushing authorities to work out even more strict rules. On Sept 19, Mrs. Zhou took a window seat on a train from Hunan to Guangdong. When the window seat passenger asked her to give the seat back, she refused.

In turn, the government of Guangdong province set up new rules that came into use on Dec 1. High-speed train passengers who refuse to move after taking others’ seats will face fines from 500 to 2,000 yuan. Their information will be shared with other parts of the national railway network, which will influence their right to buy train tickets.

The iPhone has been called a magical product because of its success over the years. However, now the iPhone seems to have lost its attraction.

Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, said in a recent letter that the company expected a revenue（收入）of $84 billion for the first fiscal quarter（財(cái)政季度）of 2019. It was much lower than the earliest expectation of between $89 billion and $93 billion. That was the first time that Apple had seen its revenue expectation fall in almost twenty years.

Cook explained that the fall was mainly because of the less growing need in China.

However, people believe that Apple itself is mainly responsible（有責(zé)任的）for the fall. Gene Munster told CNN that “one-third of the problem” comes from the company’s move to suddenly increase the price.

This has made people less willing to change the latest iPhones. For example, iPhone Xs Max, one of the company’s latest smartphones, costs $1450 in the US, and costs much more in other countries, including many developing countries, reported Forbes.

Apple has also failed to introduce features that excite people in a forward-thinking technology market, reported CNBC.

Meanwhile, Apple also faces challenges from smartphone makers in China such as Huawei and Xiaomi, which have introduced less expensive but still quality smartphones.

For example, in 2018, Huawei introduced a triple-lens camera（三攝鏡頭）on its P20 Pro. The triple-lens camera is a popular feature that the iPhone doesn’t have, according to CNBC.

“In the past few years, the technology in Apple’s phones has not had any big improvements, while the technology in smartphones made in China has got better and better ,” Feng Yin, a 32-year-old engineer in China, told The New York Times. “The difference is getting smaller.”
