　　Think of life as a game in which you are playing with five balls in the air．You name them work, family, health, friends and spirit(精神)and you keep all of them in the air．You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball．If you drop it, it will bounce(彈跳)back．

　　But the other four balls, family, health, friends and spirit, are made of glass．If you drop one of these, they will be broken．They will never be the same．You must understand that and try to have balance(平衡)in your life．How?

　　Don’t look down on your value by comparing yourself with others．It is because we are different and each of us is special．

　　Don’t let other people set goals for you．Only you know what is best for yourself．

　　Don’t give up when you still have something to give．Nothing is really over until the moment you stop trying．

　　Don’t shut your life out of your life by saying it’s impossible．The quickest way to receive love is to give it：the fastest way to lose love is to hold it too tightly(緊緊地); the best way to keep love is to give it wings．

　　Don’t use time or words carelessly．You can’t get them back．Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a secret, and today is a gift．

　　Nowadays a new lifestyle called low carbon life(低碳生活)is spreading every corner of our country．The concepts(概念)of low carbon are low energy and no waste．It is such an important project that I can’t wait to express my ideas about it more clearly．

　　In the first place, we should have a no-car day every week in our school．Because cars not only cause serious air pollution but also waste energy．On no-car day, neither students nor teachers are allowed to drive to school．Meanwhile, just walk, jump, cycle or run．Use our legs and enjoy the fun．

　　In the second place, we had better not use plastic bags any more．No one can bear(忍受)the “white pollution”．So, it is wise to use bags which can be reused again and again．

　　Finally, one thing that we should keep in mind：every big thing comes from the subtle．Therefore, as students, we ought to turn off the lights the moment we leave, turn off the water tap in time, and reuse our textbooks and so on．

　　In one word, it is necessary for all of us to put the low carbon lifestyle into our daily life．Just remember these：no-car day, no plastic bags, and no waste．Let’s do it now．

　　The farmer was very unhappy to hear that and said to himself, “What a clever daughter I have!” Then he asked his daughter to go back and get the other pair of shoes for him．

　　Later, she returned to his father with nothing in her hands and said, “It’s of no use changing them, Dad! The shoes were not a pair, either．”

You are our lucky customer and everything in your basket is free!”
