The  Service  of  Hotel
Dear Sir,
     I'm writing to you about my stay at your hotel. My wife and I arrived on Saturday, 15th May and stayed for a week. Though we were treated well and found the service excellent,we  think there are one or two matters we should tell you.
    1. We had hoped for a nice holiday from our busy work lives, and your advertisement said"comfortable and quiet". We want to have a chance to enjoy ourselves. However , we were always waken up by the
noise every morning. Is it really necessary for the workers to start their repair work so early?
    2. We had hoped to swim in your"wonderful pool". To our disappointment(失望), we found
that it was closed for the whole time of our stay.
    I hope you do not mind my writing to you about these things, but I would be happy if you could give me some explanations(解釋). It is a pity, and your service is so good in other fields.

Dear Dennis ,
    We just want to say thank you for having us before we caught the plane last week. It was a nice
evening, and we enjoyed    1   Pete and Sarah. Wiih your help we were able to get to the airport with
plenty of time. We often tried to get an 2  flight than usual,but it wasn't possible.
    We had a   3   hoilday in Spain. We just loved driving 4 the countryside, and we often

　　I have been a reporter for fifteen years. I chose this job so that I could travel the world, but the job
has taught me many unforgettable lessons. My work is sometimes boring but for most of the time it is
amazing and inspiring.    
　　In India, I visited a city. There were many homeless children. Some were young and lived in the
street. But then a lady called Rosa opened a home for them. In one whole year, she was looking after two hundred kids , feeding them , teaching them and giving them hope.    
　　Another time, I was in Japan and met a young girl with a serious illness. After seven operations, she
had to have thirteen more in hospital. However, when I met her，she was still smiling.     
　　Here in China, after the terrible Wenchuan Earthquake, I found a three-year-old boy named Lang
Zheng. He had been in the ruins(廢墟)for more than ten hours before he was found by the soldiers.
Though weak and injured, the brave boy lifted his right hand above his head with difficulty and saluted the
soldiers to show his thanks , which became the most moving moment in the disaster(災(zāi)難).
　　Thanks to the experience as a reporter, I myself am getting braver and stronger. When I face
challenges in my life, I always remember the courage(勇氣) of these three people.

     Is there someone you hate? Well, maybe you don't really hate them. But you get really angry every
 time you think of them. If you don't let this anger go, it can turn into bitterness (痛苦).         
     Bitterness appears when we can't forgive  (原諒)  someone who has hurt us or made us angry.  
Someone might say or do something that hurts us.  But instead of controlling the anger,  we keep it deep

     Instead of trying to deny your anger,  make it clear to yourself and accept it.  See your anger for 
what it is and quickly deal with it.       
    ●Stop making excuses for it      
    You may feel you have a right to be angry.  You may think you're right and the other person is 
wrong.  You may even secretly enjoy making the other person look bad.  But in the end, bitterness
 hurts you much more than the other person.  The bitterness will hold you back, and the other person
 will go on with his or her life.       
    ●Forgive and forget it       
    You probably can't completely put the anger out of your mind.  But you can decide to forgive the
 other person.  Forget it and move on.  You'll enjoy better health and peace of mind.
