分析 本文寫(xiě)了Molly Wilson 曾經(jīng)的舞蹈家和家庭主婦決定做世界航行為慈善籌錢(qián).

解答 61.C 細(xì)節(jié)理解題.根據(jù)句子 she decided to sail round the world to raise money for charity可見(jiàn)她是為了慈善機(jī)構(gòu)籌錢(qián).所以答案選C.
62.D 細(xì)節(jié)理解題.根據(jù)句子but at l5she had grown too tall for classical ballet,so she became a member of a pop dance team可見(jiàn)她因?yàn)槭情L(zhǎng)得太高了,才加入了pop dance team,所以答案選D.
63.A  細(xì)節(jié)理解題.根據(jù)第二段的內(nèi)容可知,她小的時(shí)候練習(xí)芭蕾,因?yàn)殚L(zhǎng)得個(gè)子太高又加入了一個(gè)流行舞蹈團(tuán);第三段開(kāi)始部分說(shuō)她婚后有了孩子就退了,所以順序應(yīng)該是e-b-c-a,故答案選A.
64.A 此意猜測(cè)題.根據(jù)句子but they had only done one section,say,from New Zealand to Australia.I wanted to do the whole ten-month journey.但是他們只是做了一部分,而我想做整個(gè)十個(gè)月的旅程,可以猜測(cè)別人只是做了一部分,所以答案選A合適.
65.B 推理判斷題.根據(jù)句子He was also worried because I had never sailed before,丈夫擔(dān)心的是之前我從來(lái)沒(méi)有做過(guò),可以判斷一開(kāi)始丈夫應(yīng)該是反對(duì)的.

19.Students who say they never or hardly ever use dictionaries often speak English well but usually write poorly, because they make many mistakes.
The students who use dictionaries most do not learn especially well either. The ones who look up every new word do not read fast. Therefore they do not have time to read much. Those who use small two-language dictionaries have the worst problems.Their dictionaries often give only one or two words as translations of English. But one English word often has many translations in a foreign language and one foreign word has many translations in English.
The most successful students are those who use large college edition dictionaries with about 100,000 words but do not use them too often. When they are reading, these students first try to get the general idea and understand new words from the context. Then they reread and use the dictionary to look up only key words that they still do not understand. They use dictionaries more for writing. If they are not sure how to spell a word,or divide it into syllables (音節(jié)),they always use a dictionary. Also,if they think a noun might have an unusual plural form, they check these in a dictionary.
32.The writer thinks thatC
A.choose a good dictionary, and you'll be successful in learning English

D.Reading something for the first time, you'd better not use dictionaries.
34.When in the reading does the writer advise students to use a good dictionary?D
A.At the beginning of the reading
B.At the end of the reading

D.After the first reading

3.Big or small,rejection affects us all.Harry Potter was rejected.So was The Twilight Saga.If authors J.K.Rowling and Stephenie Meyer hadn't kept trying with publisher after publisher,we'd all have missed out on some great adventures.
Rejection doesn't have to be about the big thing like not getting into your top college,not making the team,or not getting asked to the prom (舞會(huì)).Everyday situations can lead to the feeling of rejection,too,like if your joke doesn't get a laugh,if no one remembers to save you a seat at the lunch table,or if the person you really like talks to everyone but you.
Feeling rejected is the opposite of feeling accepted.But being rejected (and we will all be at times) doesn't mean someone isn't liked,valued,or important.It just means that one time,in one situation,with one person,things didn't work out.
Rejection hurts.But it's impossible to avoid it altogether.In fact,you don't want to-people who become too afraid of rejection might hold back from going after something they want.Sure,they avoid rejection,but they're also 100% guaranteed to miss out on what they want but won't try for.
