1.去掉more 考查固定搭配."the more…,the more…"句型常表示"越…就越…",是一個(gè)復(fù)合句,其中前面的句子是狀語從句,后面的句子是主句.the用在形容詞或副詞的比較級(jí)前,more代表形容詞或副詞的比較級(jí).在本句中,the better已表示了比較級(jí),more是多余的,要去掉.
2.what改為where 考查連詞.根據(jù)句意:難的考試能幫助他們弄清楚他們?cè)趯W(xué)習(xí)中的缺點(diǎn)在哪兒.用連詞where,引導(dǎo)賓語從句.
3.Though改為However 考查副詞.however表示轉(zhuǎn)折,尤其用于談及一個(gè)既成事實(shí)時(shí),表示轉(zhuǎn)折,其意為"可是""仍然"等.可放在句首、句中或句末,通常用逗號(hào)與句子其他成分隔開.

5.opinions改為opinion 考查固定搭配.in one's opinion意為"依照某人看來,在…看來",是固定搭配.
6.discourage改為discouraged 考查過去分詞.become是連系動(dòng)詞,后面接形容詞,修飾人用discouraged.
7.or改為nor 考查固定搭配.neither…nor…表示"既不…也不…",其含義是否定的,可連接任意兩個(gè)并列的成份.
8.of改為for 考查介詞.be good for意為"對(duì)…有好處",是固定搭配.
9.a(chǎn)nd改為but 考查連詞.前后兩個(gè)單句是轉(zhuǎn)折關(guān)系,而非并列關(guān)系,用連詞but.
10.去掉our 考查固定搭配.lose heart意為"灰心",是固定搭配.
