80% of all communication in English being small talk, it is essential for us master this practical social technique. A very important function of them is to establish a relationship between people who they don’t know each other well. No formula for small talk is more successful as the AAA model(AAA=answer, add and ask). This is why it works. Imagine a situation where two stranger are talking to each other in the absent of all their common acquaintances. Because it is difficult to have a conversation, they gradually came to realize the important thing is that they are saying something. By continuing with the AAA model, the conversation continues, for they both want to avoid an embarrassed silence.

【1】us后加to

【2】them改為it

【3】刪除they

【4】as改為than或?qū)⑶懊鎚ore改為as

【5】why改為how

【6】stranger改為strangers

【7】absent改為absence

【8】Because改為Though/Although/While

【9】came改為come

【1】us后加to 考查不定式復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)。不定式復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)主要是想告訴我們不定式動作的發(fā)出者,其結(jié)構(gòu)是:for sb to do sth;句意:對我們來說掌握實用的社交技巧是必要的。

【2】them改為it 考查代詞。本句中it指代上文提及的this practical social technique,這是一個單數(shù)形式,所以使用it指代。

【4】as改為than或?qū)⑶懊鎚ore改為as 考查形容詞用法。我們可以把a(bǔ)s改為than與前面的more構(gòu)成比較級。也可以把more改為as,構(gòu)成as...as....

【8】Because改為Though/Although/While 考查讓步狀語從句連詞。

【9】came改為come 考查時態(tài)。
