You've been around forever．I can remember all the pain you've caused for me．

Do you remember the night when you took advantage of my 17-year-old neighbor who had to drive to pick up his sister from her dance lessons？Do you know how we all felt when he hit another car and killed the two people in the other car？He died the next morning too．His sister walked home from her dance lesson，and passed police cars and a crowd of people gathering on the sidewalk just two blocks away from the dance studio．She didn't realize her brother was in the midst of it all．She never saw him again．And it's all your fault．
I wish you'd walk out of my life forever．I don't want anything to do with you．Look at all the pain you've caused．Sure，you've made people happy too from time to time．But the damage you've caused in the lives of millions is inexcusable．Stop luring （引誘） in the people I love．Stop hurting me，please．

Hempton says his hearing loss is quickly getting worse but he has to finish his project．
"I am running a race to finish the Quiet Planet collection．"That's the title of a planned 19-volume set of nature recordings．The sound tracks could be licensed for use in movies，video games，exhibits，plays and the like．Volunteer assistants now help Hempton review and edit sound files and identify imperfections．
The exact cause of his hearing loss is not clear．Doctors say it may be the result of an infection，or a tumor （腫瘤） or a combination of things．Hempton is self-employed．His health care plan does not pay for hearing loss treatment．So，for now，he's directing his attention to completing his"greatest hits"album．"After I get it finished，I have an economic cash flow to get my hearing back．That's the first thing on my to-do list．"He's hopeful his hearing loss can be recovered．

A week later，a snowstorm held me up and I was later than usual pulling into the school parking lot．Ahead of me by one row of cars，and over to one side，was my student，Dan and his worker．I could see his face as he moved toward the building．He was excited．I watched Dan run toward the building in anticipation of（期待著）his weekly treat，my class．I cried as it hit me that though I could not see in class all that Dan got from the class，it surely meant a lot to him．Dan did indeed love the class．He was getting enjoyment out of it．
Today when I teach courses at the College to students，I remind them that children can stand on the sidelines and seem to be uninterested and yet they can be learning at the same pace as those who are in the middle of the activity．When I teach this，I think，yes and this is true for those with disabilities too!
Teach with the wonderful enthusiasm and you are bound to reach your students．Do your job with a love for others and you will be successful no matter what your job involves．
