目前，我國幾乎各級(jí)各類學(xué)校都在加強(qiáng)英語教學(xué)和學(xué)習(xí)。對(duì)于這種情況，社會(huì)上出現(xiàn)了兩種不同的觀點(diǎn)。

應(yīng)加強(qiáng)英語學(xué)習(xí)，以適應(yīng)中國改革開放和當(dāng)前國際發(fā)展形式的需要	僅為考試而學(xué)，大部分同學(xué)畢業(yè)后根本不使用英語，因而沒必要過多學(xué)習(xí)

Learning English or Not

Nowadays nearly all the schools and universities are strengthening English teaching and learning, there are two different opinions on this. Some people think it is necessary to do this in order to meet the needs of China’s reform and opening up and the international developing trend.

While on the other hand, some people think it’s not necessary to learn English because English is only learnt for passing examinations. Most people don’t use English at all after they graduate.

In my opinion, we must strengthen English teaching. First, we can communicate with foreigners more easily if we learn English well. Second, only through English can we get a chance to learn the advanced science and technology from foreign countries.
