My favorite sport is football. I was a member of our school football team. We practice for three times every week and often watch football match on TV together. When I first learned to write in English, I run into many difficulties. The main problem was in that I always thought in Chinese and tried to translate anything into English. My teacher advised me to keep my diary. I followed her advice so put down 100 words or so each day. Soon I began to enjoy talk to myself on paper as I was learning to express me in simple English. One day I wrote a little story and showed to my teacher. She liked it very much and reading it to the class. All said the story was a good one. Their word were a great encouragement to me.

John is a tall man weighing as much as 100 kilogram(公斤). Though he is large, but he fears dogs. One day he was take a walk when a dog suddenly appeared nowhere. He became such nervous that he ran as fast as he could. The dog kept run after him and it was getting closer. In the dangerous situation, John decided climb up a tree to avoid the dog. Unfortunate, it was not a easy job. He hadn’t gone up very high when the dog stood right under the tree. The dog jumped up and bit it’s teeth into his bottom. John fell right onto the dog’s head, that killed it immediately.
