The London Eye is a tourist attraction in London,UK. There you get on a capsule (a wheel that goes round) to enjoy a great view of the city of London.

I visited the London Eye in the summer of 2009 with a friend. My friend didn't know where we were heading to. I just told him we would go somewhere very nice. As we arrived at Waterloo station,he had worked out where we were heading to and smiled happily. There was a very long queue,so in order to save time,he stayed in the queue while I collected the tickets.

The capsule doesn't actually stop when people get on,so you have to get into it quickly. Then the door of the capsule closes. The view was spectacular. We took many photos of the view and of ourselves. There were about 10 of us in the capsule and it took about half an hour for it to go round.

If you are interested in going there,I'd like to give you some tips. To en?joy the view,go in the daytime. There are night rides, but you won't see a lot. Beautiful photos are taken of people in the capsule and you can buy them when you get off. The best shots are the ones taken of people standing in front of the door. The photo takes the full view of the capsule with the person. So for a good shot, stay by the door. Ladies―take a scarf. Sometimes the top of the wheel can be quite cool even though it's sunny.
