(4)用于系動詞后作表語要用形容詞，故要把sweetly改為其形容詞形式。

(5)that不能做of的賓語。

(6)surprising一般用來形容某事是令人驚奇、令人詫異的，是形容詞；而這里是that引導(dǎo)的定語從句，謂語動詞應(yīng)該是surprised，即用surprise的過去式。

(7)so many是固定詞組，后面跟復(fù)數(shù)名詞，沒有such many這個詞組。

(8)根據(jù)語境，應(yīng)該是不只一件事，故要把thing改為復(fù)數(shù)形式。

(9)句意：這花了我一些時間去理解這些不同之處。It takes sb. + 時間段+ to do sth. 某事花費某人多久時間去做。

(10)前一句講了“這花了我一些時間去理解這些不同之處”，與本句句意“這很有趣”應(yīng)該是轉(zhuǎn)折關(guān)系，故把because改為but。

The truth is to be found elsewhere. A study in the US: families had moved to better housing and the children were assessed for ADHD—attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (多動癥). Those whose accommodation had more natural views showed an improvement of 19%; those who had the same improvement in material surroundings but no nice view improved just 4%.

ADHD is one of the great problems of modern childhood. One study after another indicates that contact with nature gives huge benefits to ADHD children. However, we spend money on drugs rather than on green places.

The life of old people is measurably better when they have access to nature. The increasing concern for the growing population of old people is in quality rather than quantity of years. And study after study finds that a garden is the single most important thing in finding that quality. Even problems with crime and aggressive behavior are reduced when there is contact with the natural world.

We need the wild world. It is essential to our well-being, our health and our happiness.
