Dear editor,

My name is Li Hua. My topic today deals with the problem of nearsightedness in students.

At present, an increasing number of students wear glasses and some even in high degree, which worries themselves a lot. In my opinion, there are mainly three reasons. First, their ways of using eyes are not healthy. Second, because of the high pressure of study, they often study for too long without any break. Third, some spend too much time before televisions or computers.|

However, much can be done to protect our eyesight. When reading, make sure we are in bright places and let our eyes rest every hour. Whenever we are free, we can do some eye exercises so that our tired eyes can be restored quickly.
