I tried to catch up what was going on in their lives and work out how we could spend more time together. My father take us to a nice restaurant for a wonderful lunch. Spend time with my family is very important to me and also to themselves. My father spends a plenty of time working outside. Whenever he is at holiday,we make it much special and we play happily. I am really gratefully to my family.
【答案】which→where
relative→relatives
在up后加with
take→took
Spend→Spending
themselves→them
去掉plenty of前的a
at→on
much→more
gratefully→grateful
I also met with some of my other relative. 故將which改為where。
根據(jù)固定搭配catch up with “了解,趕上”,所以必須加上with。故在up后加with。
Spend time with my family是句子的主語,但動詞Spend不能做主語,所以應該用Spending動名詞形式做主語。
分析句子可知,to me表示“對我”,所以“對他們”應該用to them。
根據(jù)固定搭配,沒有a plenty of的短語,只有plenty of,意為“很大,大量”。故去掉plenty of前的a。
根據(jù)固定搭配,休假“on holiday”,沒有at holiday的結(jié)構(gòu)。故將at改為on。
故將much改為more。

There was a lively discussion held in my class last Friday. It was main about protecting the fine Chinese culture. Some suggested raising people's aware of preserving our culture and making people fall in love with them. For example, we could conduct creative activity like discovery tours and culture shows to help people have better understanding of our culture. Others think some courses should be offered in schools, which goal was to help students learn more about our customs, ways of life and so on. And in my view, what was mattered was that everyone should feel proud in our own culture. Also, we should attempt to passing our fine culture down from generation to generation.

Have you ever frequently put off things you should do for various reasons? If so, it is procrastination (拖延). Procrastinators often put off doing things and leave them to the very last moment. 【1】Lazy people simply don’t do anything and are just fine with it. Procrastinators, on the other hand, have the desire to do something but can’t force themselves to start.
You might think procrastination is a bit annoying but fairly harmless. However, long term procrastination has bad effects on your health. Not having seen the doctor when your illness was easier to treat may shorten your life. Just thinking about what you haven’t done may cause discomfort. 【2】
Don’t place too much pressure on yourself. “This project has to impress everyone; I really can’t blow this opportunity,” 【3】 Overcome this mental block by simply allowing yourself to be imperfect with the next small task. You can always improve your work later.
【4】 Concentrating on the size and difficulty of a task will overcome you and promote procrastination. Any work can be broken into smaller steps. The trick is - with each step along the way — to focus on the next achievable tasks. Make sure you can easily imagine the outcome of your small task. Don’t write a book; write a page.
Focus on starting, rather than finishing. For someone who’s having a hard time starting a task, imagining a hard-to-grasp future can be depressing. The solution in this case, then, is to focus on starting. 【5】 We all know that if we start, we’ll eventually finish the task.
A.Break a long project down into short tasks.
B.So procrastination is about managing the time.
C.So we should apply ourselves to overcoming it.
D.However, procrastination is different from laziness.
E.Focus on the negative effects of the procrastination.
F.Bring your focus from the future to what can be done right now.
G.Placing such high hopes on a project only adds anxiety and fear of failure.

My secret of staying young is simple: Keeping your mind awake and you will stay young all over. Take an interest in the world around you, and learn at least a new thing every day. Don’t think that you are ever too older to go back to school. I know a man entered a medical college at 70. He got his degree with honors and became famous doctor. Other man, with his children encouragement, went to a law school when he was 71 and is now an active lawyer. You may never say that staying young is easy only for those living in the future. In fact, you could do it if you care enough to try to keep your mind awake and active, what is the only way to be always young.
