Their reasons are as follows: To begin with, summer is a right time for children to enrich their knowledge, broaden their horizons and strengthen their basis of different subjects. Meanwhile, in some parents’ opinion, it is far better to keep their children occupied than to leave them at home watching TV all day or just having nothing to do.

As far as I am concerned, taking part in the summer camps does not necessarily benefit children. So, there is no need for all parents to copy something blindly.
