    This evening I was doing my lessons in the room when I heard someone screaming. I rushed out, only to find my neighbour next door got his arm burned with boiling water. Luckily I had just learned some knowledge of first aid, knowing that cool water can reduce swelling. So I kept the burned area under cool running water for about 10 minutes. Then I covered it with a dry and clean bandage.

   Soon the ambulance arrived. The doctor was quite satisfied with what I had done and praised me, saying that it was my bravery and first-aid knowledge that helped my neighbour. He said that everyone should know some knowledge of first aid because it might be very helpful in our daily life.

   I feel very proud of what I have done today.
