Pay attention to what is happening now, the task at hand and all the choices you make today, big and small. Our future is set by what we decide and do today.

What happened yesterday is over. You can not change it. So let it go. Don’t waste your energy considering anger or unhappiness. It only stops you from moving forward in life.

Look for the good in people. Celebrate the happy moments, big and small. Search for the chances for growth. Give helpful encouragement rather than unwanted criticism (批評(píng)). Be helpful whenever possible.

In a word, life is serious but you can still be delighted and hopeful. Otherwise, what’s the point?

Science and technology do not tell us what it means to be humans. The arts do. Music is an important way we express human suffering, celebration, the meaning and value of peace and love. So music education is far more necessary than people seem to realize.

Dear Jim,

So glad that you are interested in my new flat. Now I would like tell you something about it. Locating in the north of the city, this Residential Center is small with only six building. My flat, which covers the area of 36 square meters, is in the fourth floor in Building 2. It consisted of a sitting room, a bedroom, a kitchen and a toilet. When you enter into the flat, you will find yourself in the sitting room. The sitting room is the part that I like best, because it is brightly with a lovely balcony, which I can enjoy the beautiful garden below. Although my flat is small, I like them very much because it is comfortable.
