Can trees talk? Yes, not in words. Scientists have reasons to believe that trees do communicate 【1】 each other.

First a willow tree 【3】(attack) in the woods by caterpillars(毛蟲) changed the chemistry of its leaves and made them taste so terrible that they got tired of the leaves 【4】(gradual) and stopped eating them. Then even more 【5】(astonish), the tree sent out a special smell—a signal causing 【6】 neighbors to change the chemistry of their own leaves and make them less tasty.
Communication, of course, doesn’t need to be in words. We can talk to each other by smiling, raiding our shoulders and moving our hands. 【7】 we know is that birds and animals use a whole vocabulary of songs, sounds, and movements. Bees dance their signals. 【8】(fly) in certain patterns that tell other bees where 【9】 (find) nectar(花蜜) for honey. So why shouldn’t trees have 【10】(way) of sending messages?

【1】with
【2】learned
【3】attacked
【4】gradually
【5】astonishing
【6】its
【7】What

communicate with…
a willow tree ___3___(attack) in the woods by caterpillars(毛蟲) changed the chemistry of its leaves,本句中tree是主語。
More important, he’s got a steady job.

Nowadays more and more people would rather to look for a job on the Internet than in the job market. There are many reasons for my preference, one of which is that a job hunter can find job conveniently. He needn’t bother to get recommendations from friend. Besides, a job hunter can get one by simple sending resumes by e-mail but the success rate is very high. Even if one failed to make it, he won’t feel embarrassing.
I believe job-hunting on the internet will win favor in more and more jobless people for its convenient, efficiency and success rate.

A major source of teen stress is school exams, and test anxiety is not uncommon. When you recognize your teen is under stress, how can parents help your teen stay calm before an exam?
Be involved. Parents need to be involved in their teen’s work. 【1】 _ What they look for is your presence — to talk, to cry, or simply to sit with them quietly. Communicate openly with your teen. Encourage your teen to express her worries and fears, but don’t let them focus on those fears.

It is important for your teen to eat a healthy, balanced diet during exam times to focus and do her best. 【3】 If this happens, encourage your teen to eat light meals or sandwiches. A healthy diet, rather than junk food, is best for reducing stress.
【4】 Persuade your teenager to get some sleep and /or do something active when she needs a real break from studying. Making time for relaxation, fun, and exercise are all important in reducing stress. Help your teen balance her time so that she will feel comfortable taking time out from studying to spend time with friends or rest.
Show a positive attitude. 【5】 Your panic, anxiety and blame contribute to your teen’s pressure. Make your teen feel accepted and valued for her efforts. Most importantly, reassure your teen that things will be all right, no matter what the results are.

C. They will only make the situation worse.
