John McCain and Barack Obama call for closer U.S.-Chinese cooperation on trade, the environment and nuclear proliferation （擴(kuò)散）in the upcoming issue of an American business group's magazine. They do so in an unusual effort to court voters abroad.

Both articles appeared Sunday on the website of the American Chamber of Commerce（商會(huì)） in China, and will be published in China Brief, the chamber's monthly magazine, on September 22.

   Norway―Ten Chinese college students arrived at the country’s Arctic research base，the Yellow River Station，on Friday．

   On Saturday，the students are expected to witness the end of four months of darkness in the area, as the sun makes a rare appearance.
