1、A wallet in the Bar

   One day in the summer holiday, Tom found a waiter was needed in a bar. He felt interested in the job and went for an interview. Then he was taken on and started working in the bar. A few days after Tom got the job, a young man came to the bar with his girl friend .They ordered some drinks and talked happily at the table. They stayed for a long time enjoying themselves.

After the bar was closed, Tom began to do the cleaning, suddenly he found a wallet under the table at which the man and his girl friend had sat. He opened it and found .To his surprise, a diamond ring and lots of money. “It must be the girl’s.” Tom thought,“ and the girl must be worried.” Tom telephoned the police and told them about it. The man and the girl were found and they came back to the bar. They were thankful to Tom and Tom was also happy because he had helped others.
