10.Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, showed off their newest device (裝置),the Apple Watch.Mr.Cook said it is the"most personal"device Apple has ever created.
The Apple Watch is a very small computer a person wears on his or her wrist (手腕).An Apple Watch will be able to do many of the same things as an iPhone. It will show email, texts, news, health readings and other information. It will be different from just seeing what is on your phone.
Like a phone, you will be able to receive calls on your wrist.Mr.Cook smiled while describing this."I've been wanting to do this since I was five years old,"he said."The day is finally here."Twenty years ago,a comic strip hero named Dick Tracy talked into his wrist watch, but until now, that has only been something possible in the future.
The watches will be available in stores in late April. They will be sold at different prices, beginning at $349.But the high-end model will be thousands of dollars.
Apple hopes to excite users so they will want to buy and wear computers on their bodies. The first smartwatches from Samsung,Sony and LG have not been selling well.Only five million smartwatches were sold last year.
One problem with Apple Watch is that you need an iPhone on your body,or nearby,to make this watch fully functional.Like a phone,it will also need to be charged (充電) each night. It remains to be seen whether people really want to carry both a smartphone and a smartwatch.

20.To do anything and get anywhere you've got to be a dreamer first.A long time ago I used to dream about being a real actor and now it's come true.
Several teachers at school in Liverpool had a special influence on me.I went to Hayworth Street School,where there was an English and art teacher called Mr.Jackson.He was quite strict,but if he went out of the room for a minute,he'd ask me to keep the class in good order.I was only 12but he'd say,"Tommy,get up there and tell the class a story."And I did.And it was like nothing,it was easy.
Then,at Venice Street,ther was an English teacher called Mr.Vurnette.He ran a theatre.He took us all down there once a year and I remembered looking at the stage and thinking,"Wow!That's great!I love that."So from an early age acting was calling me.
I moved schools again and ended up going to Walton Technical College,and I stayed there until I was 16.Elwyn Jones was another English teacher who encouraged me to write.
So I guess it was these teachers who encouraged me and stopped me going wrong.
The biggest influence on my life,without any doubt,was my mother,F(xiàn)eggy.At the age of 86,she's still a great driving force.She bought me my first banjo when I was 17.I started playing in the pubs and clubs and began to see myself as a performer,even though I got into the construction industry after graduation.
So I learned a lot at school and at home, and I was able to take this on and use it positively.
I'm probably learning more now at 62than ever before.I would like to think there are still a few things I haven't done and that I will do in the short time I have left.I'm still dreaming.

15.Teens want structure in their lives, which means they want their lives well-planned.To begin building structure, teens need love and trust. They need to know their parents are there to give them needed love and support (支持).Teens want to be sure that nothing can prevent parents from shouldering their responsibility for them not their growing maturity (成熟),misbehavior, nor anger at something they have done.Teens want parents to keep control while allowing them to make some decisions.
There are some ways you can help your teens create reasonable structure and remain close. One way is to spend time together.Parents often mistake their teens'increased interest in friends for a disinterest in the family.
Teens would like to spend more time doing things with their parents, but watching TV is not counted as spending time together. As your teens mature,it is important you and your teens spend time alone together, one to one.Your teens need time to talk to you alone without any other family member present.
Talk with your teens about their interests and concerns.Make sure you really show interest in what is happening. When talking with your teens, give full attention and do not stop them.
The way to help your teens become adults is to let your teens into your world.Sharing your emotions and concerns with your teens is important.Avoid causing needless worry.
Trust your teens.Don't expect the worst.Hope for the best.Telling your teens you don't like their friends will cause the teens not to bring their friends home.If something should go wrong, believe that your teens didn't do it on purpose.
It is very important that you treat your teens with respect.Teens need the same respect adults show for total strangers.Don't talk down to your teens.
You need to be supportive of your teens. What may be a small problem to you may be troubling to your teens.Teens don't have the experiences that adults have had.Let the teens know that you understand how much it hurts when something happens that is upsetting or hurtful to them.As they mature, they can look back at some problems they had and laugh at having been upset by something that now seems unimportant.
The most important things to remember are:talk with your teens, listen to their worries and offer suggestions when needed. This will help your teens to live a well-organized life.
