"I think so," said Denny, "but we'd better be quick."

The two boys worked quickly to make a lean-to out of branches（樹枝）. Then they went inside. It grew dark. A cold wind blew through the lean-to. "I don't want to die here," Mark said in the dark.

"We're not going to die!" said Denny. But he wasn't so sure. Then he heard some shouting. The boys went out of their lean-to just as a few people got here.

"Here you are!" Mr. Jenkins, their headmaster, said excitedly. "We saw the lean-to and thought it might be you," he said. "Are you OK?"

"We're fine," said Mark. Everyone laughed.
