Smart phones had become part of our daily life. No matter who we are, we can see people busy play with their smart phones. Smart phones benefit them. They help us escape the pressure of life and get informations. However, if we spend too much time on them, we won’t have time to contact face to face our friends or family. And our life, study and work will hurt. In my view, we should limit to our using smart phones except for a purpose of learning. Meanwhile, it’s absolute necessary for us to take part in more outdoors activities.

B
One day a mime(啞劇演員) is visiting the zoo and tries to earn some money as a street performer. As soon as he starts to draw a crowd, a zookeeper pulls him into his office. The zookeeper explains that the zoo's most popular attraction, a gorilla(大猩猩), has died suddenly and the keeper fears that attendance(出席人數(shù)) at the zoo will fall off. He offers the mime a job to dress up as the gorilla. The mime accepts.
The next morning the mime puts on the gorilla suit and enters the cage before the crowd comes. He soon discovers he can sleep, play and make fun of people and he draws bigger crowds than he ever did as a mime — the job he likes but loses.
However, with days going by, he begins to notice that the people are paying more attention to the lion in the cage next to his. Not wanting to lose the attention of his audience, he climbs to the top of his cage, crawls across a partition(隔墻), and dangles(懸掛) from the top to the lion's cage. The lion gets angry at this. The scene is a fuel to the crowd.
At the end of the day he is given a raise for being such a good attraction — well, this continues for some time. The crowds grow larger, and the mime's pay keeps going up.
Then one day when he is dangling over the lion he slides and falls. The mime is terrified. He starts screaming “Help me!”, but the lion is quick. The mime soon finds himself flat on his back looking up at the angry lion and the lion says, “Shut up you fool! Do you want to get us both fired?”

【題目】閱讀下列短文,從每題所給的四個選項(A、B、C和D)中,選出最佳選項。 You have probably heard of the Mozart effect. It's the idea that if children or even babies listen to music composed by Mozart, they will become more intelligent. A quick Internet search exposes plenty of products to assist you in the task. Whatever your age, there are CDs and books to help you taste the power of Mozart's music, but when it comes to scientific evidence that it can make you more clever, the picture is more mixed.
The phrase “the Mozart effect” was made up in 1991, but it was a study described two years later in the journal Nature that sparked(激發(fā)) real media and public interest about the idea that listening to classical music somehow improves the brain. It is one of those ideas that sound reasonable. Mozart was undoubtedly a genius himself; his music is complex and there is a hope that if we listen to enough of it, we'll become more intelligent.
The_idea_took_off,_with thousands of parents playing Mozart to their children, and in 1998 Zell Miller, the Governor of the state of Georgia in the US, even asked for money to be set aside in the state budget so that every newborn baby could be sent a CD of classical music. It was not just babies and children who were exposed to Mozart's music on purpose. Even an Italian farmer proudly explained that the cows were played Mozart three times a day to help them produce better milk.
I'll leave the debate on the effect on milk yield to farmers, but what about the evidence that listening to Mozart makes people more intelligent? More research was carried out but an analysis of sixteen different studies confirmed that listening to music does lead to a temporary improvement in the ability to handle shapes mentally, but the benefits are shortlived and it doesn't make us more intelligent.
(1)What can we learn from Paragraph 1?
A.Mozart composed many musical pieces for children.
B.Children listening to Mozart will be more intelligent.
C.There are few products on the Internet about Mozart's music.
D.There is little scientific evidence to support the Mozart effect.
(2)The underlined sentence in Paragraph 3 suggests that ________.
A.people were strongly against the idea
B.the idea was accepted by many people
C.Mozart played an important part in people's life
D.the US government helped promote the idea
(3)What is the author's attitude towards the Mozart effect?
A.Favourable.
B.Objective.
C.Doubtful.
D.Positive.
(4)What would be the best title for the passage?
A.Listening to Mozart, necessary?
B.What music is beneficial?
C.What is the Mozart effect?
D.To be or not to be?
