短文改錯(cuò) (共10小題，每小題1.5分，滿分15分)

此題要求改正所給短文中的錯(cuò)誤。短文中有10處錯(cuò)誤，每句中最多有兩處。錯(cuò)誤涉及一個(gè)單詞的增加、刪除或修改。

增加：在缺詞處加一個(gè)漏字符號(hào)（^），并在其下面寫出該加的詞。

刪除：把多余的詞用斜線（\）劃掉。

修改：在錯(cuò)的詞下劃一橫線，并在該詞下面寫出修改后的詞。

注意： 1．每處錯(cuò)誤及其修改均僅限一詞。

The students of Class 3 had a discussion about if it is necessary learn English from childhood. Some think it necessary. As a little boys and girls have a very good memory, they can learn many English words by hearts, which will help them lay a solid foundation for their future English learning. But others do not agree. Children have to learn Chinese Pinyin. If they study Chinese Pinyin or English at the same time, it will be very easily for them to mix them up. Vicki Brown, 30, played a very important role in ending the nationwide manhunt. Vicki, who has worked at the Royal Hotel for four years, told of her terrible experience when she had to steal into Bieber's bedroom and to watch him secretly. Then she waited alone for three hours while armed police prepared to storm the building.

She said: "I was very nervous. But when I opened the hotel door and saw 20 armed policemen lined up in the car park I was so glad they were there.”

The alarm had been raised because Vicki became suspicious （懷疑） of the guest who checked in at 3 pm the day before New Year's Eve with little luggage and wearing sunglasses and a hat pulled down over his face. She said: "He didn't seem to want to talk too much and make any eye contact （接觸）."
