故said改為saying。

故will改為would。

故that改為which。

故much改為many。

故he改為I。

故defeated后加was。

You already know many things that can reduce your chances of getting various types of cancer. Avoiding tobacco (煙草) products is an important thing, but have you ever considered your choice of dinner time as a reason for your risk of cancer? Probably not, but new research suggests that you might want to consider it.

A new study published in the International Journal of Cancer draws some very interesting connection between people’s time for dinner and their risk (風險) of developing certain types of cancers, including breast and prostate (前列腺) cancer, which are two of the largest killers of men and women.

“Modern life often means mistimed sleeping and eating that are connected with poor health effects in experimental studies,” the researchers explain. The research mainly focuses on how long before bedtime a person eats their last meal of the day. People who eat before 9 p. m or eat at least n couple of hours before hitting the sack have lower risks of developing cancers. The scientists find that these people enjoy a 20% drop in cancer risk when compared to those who eat dinner after 10 p.m. or eat right before climbing into bed.

The researchers followed the habits of thousands of people and tracked their nighttime eating habits and whether or not they developed cancer over the long term. The numbers seem to point towards early dinners being a very beneficial thing if you’re hoping to avoid some of the more common types of cancer, but the scientists still don’t know exactly why that’s true. Here are my favorite tips for staying physically, mentally and emotionally healthy during the winter months. Vacation not included. 1

Raise your vitamin D levels naturally (without pills or sunlight). We’ve all heard about the marvels of vitamin D: heart health, skin health, immune health, mental health… But you don’t need to take pills or risk skin cancer to get high vitamin D levels. The big secret is that vitamin D levels are associated with healthy lifestyle changes. For example, if you lose just 5 percent or more of your body weight, your vitamin D blood levels will shoot up. Vitamin D likes to stay in fatty tissue, so when you lose fat, the vitamin D levels in your blood go up. 2. And when you eat your wild salmon, bake it rather than fry it. Other good food sources are trout, mushrooms and egg yolks, and my favorite, plain Greek yogurt.

3 Winter can be a tough time for many of us. All that darkness can take its toll on our mental health. The winter months can be very isolating for many people. My suggestion is that you and a close friend sign up for yoga, cooking or sewing class. 4

Eat more plants—the ones that are sources of omega-3 fatty acids. According to the famous Harvard Nurses’ Health Study, there was no relation between depression and intake of omega-3 fatty acids from fish, 5. And again, the wintertime is when many people have a higher risk of depression.

A.Take a class with a friends

B.but they did find a reduced risk of depression in those with moderate intake of plant-based omega-3 fatty acids

C.Isolate yourself during wintertime

D.The following three simple suggestions are things that anyone can do easily and inexpensively to stave off the winter blues and sniffles (鼻塞).

E.Not only do these kinds of classes improve your mental and physical fitness, but they help to fill that social craving (渴望) that we have as human beings, too

F.and there was no evidence to show the benefit of plants

G.Other ways to increase vitamin D naturally are to lower your cholesterol (膽固醇) exercise and eat more fatty fish, such as wild salmon

Faced with greater competition, movie theaters have tried multiple experiments to upgrade the cinematic experience, including bigger and brighter screens and rumbling(折疊) seats. But a major challenge for exhibitors is to make the experience more attractive without depending on tricks.

One local theater, Regal L. A. Live, is experimenting with an idea that managers say strikes the right balance between so-called increase and sensory overload. The downtown L. A. theater plans to introduce Immersive Cinema Experience known as ICE technology in one of its auditoriums(禮堂) this fall.

The 190-seat auditorium will feature a traditional screen at the front, 1ike any other theater. But the audience will also have five LED screens on both sides that will flood moviegoers' peripheral (周圍的 ) vision with lights and colors based on what's playing on the main screen. For example, if you're watching a scene that takes place in the African desert, the LED might shower the audience with enveloping colors of sky-blue, sun-like yellow sand. But importantly, viewers won't have to turn their necks to catch any additional onscreen action. "When you' re watching the movie, you actually feel very absorbed into the film," said Shelby Russell, a manager at L. A. Live. "It strengthens the mood of each of the scenes."

Regal L. A. Live will be the first U. S. theater to employ the technology. Managers did not say how much tickets will cost, but like other previous formats such as Imax, they will be more expensive than standard admissions.

Other cinemas have tried to introduce some other formats as theaters face growing threats from popular media. Results have been mixed, though. 4DX, which uses seat movements, water and scent effects, operates in more than 620 theaters around the world. On the other hand, Barcoo Escape, a once promising idea for a three-screen theatrical design, failed to catch on. Shelby said the success of ICE theaters in France, where it competes with Imax, indicates well for its U. S. expansion. "The problem with other formats is that they distract the moviegoer from the film," Shelby said. "ICE appeals to a very large audience."

1What leads cinemas to experiment with new technology?

A.Expensive admissions

B.Growing competition

C.Mixed results of previous formats

D.The increasing number of moviegoers

2What does ICE use to upgrade cinematic experience?

A.Brighter colors

B.Rumbling seats

C.Multiple screens

D.Sweet-scented effects

3How do audience feel when watching films in an ICE cinema?

A.Absorbed into the movie

B.Distracted from the screens

C.Overloaded with excitement

D.Tired from turning their necks

4What can we infer from the last paragraph?

A.Imax failed to catch on in France.

B.ICE looks promising in the U.S.

C.Barcoo Escape is a popular design.

D.The use of 4DX is on the decline.
