【答案】As the proverb goes, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.” From this, we know that health is very important to everybody, especially to teenagers. But how to keep fit? As far as I'm concerned, doing physical exercise has lots of advantages.
First of all, doing exercise in the morning will refresh my body as well as give me a good appetite to eat my breakfast. What's more, the air in the morning is really fresh and clean, so I can keep my mind active in the class. By doing physical exercise every day I can keep my mind alert that I can finish my tasks in time. Secondly, doing exercise every day will help me to develop a better personality. It takes time and patience to do exercise. Doing physical exercise makes me stronger and healthier. That's my personal experience.
As a student, sports are important. You can pick up your favorite sport and do it every day. Only in this way can you have both pleasure and a healthy body.

Cell Phones: Hang Up or Keep Talking?
Millions of people are using cell phones today. In many places it is actually considered unusual not to use one. They find that the phones are more than a means of communication----having a mobile phone shows that they are cool and connected.
The explosions around the world in mobile phone use make some health professionals worried. Some doctors are concerned that in the future many people may suffer health problems from the use of mobile phones. In England, there has been a serious debate about this issue. Mobile phone companies are worried about the negative publicity of such ideas.
On the other hand, why do some medical studies show changes in the brain cells of some people who use mobile phones? Signs of change in the tissues of the brain and head can be detected with modern scanning(掃描)equipment. In one case, a traveling salesman had to retire at a young age because of serious memory loss. He would often forget the name of his own son. This man used to talk on his mobile phone for about six hours a day, every day of his working week, for a couple of years. His family doctor blamed his mobile phone use, but his employer's doctor didn't agree.
The answer is radiation. High-tech machines can detect very small amounts of radiation from mobile phones. Mobile phone companies agree that there is some radiation, but they say the amount is too small to worry about.
As the discussion about their safety continues, it appears that it's best to use mobile phones less often. Use your mobile phone only when you really need it. Mobile phones can be very useful and convenient, especially in emergencies. In the future, mobile phones may have a warning label that says they are bad for your health. So for now, it's wise not to use your mobile phone too often.
A. Use your regular phone if you want to talk for a long time.
B. They will possibly affect their benefits.
C. In many countries, cell phones are very popular with young people.
D. He couldn't remember even simple tasks.
E. What do the doctors worry about?
F. They say that there is no proof that mobile phones are bad for your health.
G. What is it that makes mobile phones potentially harmful?

【題目】閱讀下列短文,從每題所給的四個選項(A、B、C和D)中,選出最佳選項。
B
One day a mime(啞劇演員) is visiting the zoo and tries to earn some money as a street performer. As soon as he starts to draw a crowd, a zookeeper pulls him into his office. The zookeeper explains that the zoo's most popular attraction, a gorilla(大猩猩), has died suddenly and the keeper fears that attendance(出席人數(shù)) at the zoo will fall off. He offers the mime a job to dress up as the gorilla. The mime accepts.
The next morning the mime puts on the gorilla suit and enters the cage before the crowd comes. He soon discovers he can sleep, play and make fun of people and he draws bigger crowds than he ever did as a mime — the job he likes but loses.
However, with days going by, he begins to notice that the people are paying more attention to the lion in the cage next to his. Not wanting to lose the attention of his audience, he climbs to the top of his cage, crawls across a partition(隔墻), and dangles(懸掛) from the top to the lion's cage. The lion gets angry at this. The scene is a fuel to the crowd.
At the end of the day he is given a raise for being such a good attraction — well, this continues for some time. The crowds grow larger, and the mime's pay keeps going up.
Then one day when he is dangling over the lion he slides and falls. The mime is terrified. He starts screaming “Help me!”, but the lion is quick. The mime soon finds himself flat on his back looking up at the angry lion and the lion says, “Shut up you fool! Do you want to get us both fired?”
