【4】that改成where
【5】what改成how
【6】Joined改成Joining
【7】hanged改成hung
【8】has改成have
【9】刪除about
【10】with改成to
含有否定意義的副詞位于句首時的倒裝:在正式文體中,never, seldom, rarely, little, hardly, scarcely, no sooner, no longer, nowhere等含有否定意義的副詞若位于句首,則其后要用部分倒裝。 No sooner had I arrived home than it began to rain.
all the time一直,總是。故在time前加the。
從句中不缺少主語,從form看后面缺少賓語,而根據(jù)句意可以看出,此空表示“behind the door”,故把that改成where。
how修飾形容詞和副詞,此處close是形容詞,故把what改成how。
amounts of修飾不可數(shù)名詞,做主語時后面的謂語動詞在人稱和數(shù)上與amount的單復數(shù)保持一致,故把has改成have。
There is no doubt that---,(毫無疑問),故把句中的about去掉。
apologize to sb. for sth.

【題目】Calorie(卡路里)counts are everywhere. They appear on restaurant menus, milk boxes and bags of baby carrots. Grocery stores display lots of foods packaged with bright and colorful “l(fā)ow-calorie” claims.
A calorie is the measure of stored energy in something---energy that can be released as heat when burned. The term calorie on food labels is short for kilocalorie. A kilocalorie is the amount of energy it takes to raise the temperature of one kilogram of water by 1 degree Celsius. But what does boiling water have to do with your body’s release of energy from food? After all, your body doesn’t start boiling after eating. It does, however, chemically break down food into sugars. The body then releases the energy to fuel processes and activities throughout each hour of the day.
Food contains three main types of nutrients that deliver energy: fats, proteins and carbs(碳水化合物). A process called metabolism(新陳代謝) first cuts these into small pieces; Proteins break down into amino acids(氨基酸), fats into fatty acids and carbs into simple sugars. Then, the body uses oxygen to break down these materials to release heat.
Most of this energy goes toward powering the heart, lungs, brain and other vital processes. Exercise and other activities also use energy. If energy-rich nutrients aren’t used right away, your body will hoard them---first in the liver(肝臟), and then later as body fat.
In general, someone should eat the same amount of energy each day as his or her body will use. If the balance is off, they will win lose or gain weight. It’s very easy to eat more calories than the body needs. Having two 200-calorie donuts in addition to regular meals could easily put teens over their daily needs. At the same time, it’s nearly impossible to balance overeating with extra exercise. Running a mile burns just 100 calories. Knowing how many calories are in the food we eat can help keep the energy in and out balanced.
【1】How much energy does it need to lift the temperature of 5 kilograms of water by 10 degree Celsius?
A. One kilocalorie.
B. Five kilocalories.
C. Ten kilocalories.
D. Fifty kilocalories.
【2】What is Paragraph 3 mainly about?
A. How the nutrients are classified.
B. How oxygen works in human body.
C. How the food types affect metabolism.
D. How the body gets heat from nutrients.
【3】What does the underlined word “hoard” in Paragraph 4 mean?
A. Store.
B. Remove.
C. Replace.
D. Burn.
【4】What can we learn from the last paragraph?
A. It is good for our health to do exercises.
B. It’s really difficult to control our weight.
C. It is important to control the calories we take.
D. It is good for our body to eat the same type of nutrients.

Just as people today can't do without an electric kettle, the Bronze You allowed people to enjoy a hot drink.
●Bronze Yan, ancient steamer
Although the “Wen Ding” was effective at keeping food warm, the ancient Chinese people later found that its burning produced pollution. If Frida Kahlo(1907-1954) is today one of the best-known and most popular figures of 20th-century, Mexican art, it is undoubtedly because of her personality and the originality(獨創(chuàng)性)of a body of works. Her work is, above all, the expression of a real life-a tragic and stormy life, one that challenged all conventions. The mere mention of her name excites enthusiasm and admiration, but her work is rarely exhibited, and has not been shown in France for fifteen years. The selection to go on show at the Musee de L’Orangerie includes major works by the artist, with masterpieces from the Museo Dolores Olmedo.
The life and work of Frida Kahlo cannot be separated from those of her companion Diego Rivera(1886-1957). Together they became figures of legend, and both have a place in the pantheon of 20th-century Mexican artists. Famous for his large wall paintings, Rivera’s easel paintings, drawings and prints, which form a large part of his artistic production, are less well-known to the public in Europe. The exhibition aims to trace his artistic career from the early Cubist images, revealing his links with the Paris artists whose works are a key element in the Orangerie collections, to the paintings that established him as the founder of the 20th-century school of Mexican art. His travels throughout Europe influenced his vision and his skills without ever distancing him from his roots, thus confirming his place in history as the founder of the nationalist school.
The exhibition devoted to the legendary couple Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo presents their works together, as if to confirm the impossibility of their divorce that was in fact finalized(定下來)but reconsidered after just one year apart. It also gives us a better view of their respective artistic worlds, so different and yet so complementary(互補的), through the deep-rooted attachment they shared to their country.
