Recently, more and more schools have set up special organizations calling “Waking Up Club”. They aim to encourage students get up early in the morning. A discussion about set up a similar organization in our school is organized by the Student Union last Monday. 120 students took part in it, of which 67 supported it because they believed it would help them develop good habits and make fully use of the morning time. Therefore, 48 students didn’t think it was a good idea. They held that if to get up early or not depends on one’s habit and it is not right to force us to do so. The rest of the students insisted on that everyone should follow their own wishes and their own lifestyles.

【9】us---them考查賓語。根據(jù)上下文內(nèi)容分析,可知,本文的主語是第三人稱的他們,所以這里是指逼迫他們,而不是我們,故改為them。
【10】去掉on考查insist的用法。這句是insist引導(dǎo)的虛擬語氣,這里insist表示“堅(jiān)持”,后面直接接that引導(dǎo)虛擬語句,故去掉on。

It's reported that many people died of traffic accidents each year. Road safety has aroused the widely attention of the public. As the high school student, I like to talk with foreigners to practise my oral English but learn more about other cultures. There were two foreign teachers in our school in this term. They often go to the English corner so that we can have a chance to practise the language. I seize every chance talk with them. However, I sometime find they are not so interesting in what I say. Do you often talk with your parents? A recently survey shows that nearly half of the high school students doesn’t like to talk with their parents. 43.3% of them have trouble communicate with their parents. What is bad, 82.8% of them don’t want to share their secrets their parents. Actually, it is important for us to communicate with our parents though they are the dearest people in our life, who cared for us all the time. By letting them know that what we think, we can get practical advice from them, which can help us to deal with many problem in life.
In this way, we can feel more confident about us and live happily.

Movie Reviews
Think of the major Oscar categories and consider the performances, music, lighting and setting, etc. Do these work together? Did some hold up while others didn’t? If the movie is based on a book, discuss whether one is better than the other and why. If the movie is a remake, compare the film to its original.
Remember that a well-written movie review should discuss strengths and weaknesses. Some readers may not have seen a movie yet, so don’t give away an exciting scene or the ending!
College Reviews
Begin by providing an overview of the college, including location, size and a description of the campus and/or dorm life. Think about all aspects of your college visit. What academic, athletic and after-class programs are available? What are the students like? What makes the college different from others? Every school has strengths and weaknesses. Be objective. Consider what the school has to offer and who might enjoy or benefit the most from attending there.
