【題目】Once upon a time, there was a beautiful bird, which had always wondering what Hell(地獄) was. Some said Hell was a place full of water, and others told her that Hell was full of burning fire. However, the bird knew they were lying. She wanted to find out what Hell was.

When other birds were learning flying skills, she always hid herself and watched them. She thought in this way she could go to Hell and see what Hell looked like. However, she spent so little time learning flying skills that one day she was caught by a little boy. The little boy gave her to his grandpa in the countryside as a gift. The old man liked her very much. He made a beautiful cage(籠子) and put her in it. The bird was very worried because she thought she couldn’t find out what Hell was like staying in this small cage. However, she couldn’t escape. Day after day, she just stayed in the cage, watching other birds flying. She lost her freedom and she became sadder and sadder. At last, she became ill. The old man finally opened the cage, but she was too weak to fly. Lying on the ground, she thought of the question that she ever asked all the time.

I like eating fruit and vegetables what are of great benefit to our healthy. Not only do they prevent us from falling into ill, but they help us lose weight. I used to hate vegetables, but follow the doctor’s advice, I gradually kicked the bad habit. Just as an old saying going, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away”. However, there are still many child disliking fruit and vegetables. On contrary, influenced by this or that kind of advertisement, many were crazy about junk food. Consequently, they become weaker and weaker instead of getting strong. In my opinion, we must take action to change them.

Recently I have started a new job in a small office, which four of us share a water filter(凈水器). One of my coworker complained the water tasted "dirty", and she is astonished I could drink the water with any trouble. I even started to doubt my taste buds, but the water really tastes fine. Finally, she figured out the problem was actually my cup, which she simply forgot to clean.

I can't help but to think about the world we live. Too often we quickly blame other people, other things, something else but ourselves. The world isn't perfect, I know, but I think we should take the step back sometimes and ask ourselves some tough questions. Can I be better? Is my heart really pure? …

Please clean your cup. Because when you do, the water will taste much good. I promise you this.
