學(xué)習(xí)的目的是為了使自然人過(guò)渡到社會(huì)人、使社會(huì)人更好地服務(wù)于社會(huì)，由于社會(huì)時(shí)刻在發(fā)生著變化，因此，一個(gè)良好的社會(huì)人必需具備適應(yīng)社會(huì)變化的能力。讓學(xué)生懂得用現(xiàn)成的方法解決現(xiàn)成的問(wèn)題僅僅是學(xué)習(xí)的第一步，學(xué)習(xí)的更高境界是提出新問(wèn)題、提出解決問(wèn)題的新方案。因此首先必須改變那種只局限于教師給題學(xué)生做題的被動(dòng)的、封閉的意識(shí)，為了使數(shù)學(xué)適應(yīng)時(shí)代的需要，我們選擇了數(shù)學(xué)開放題作為一個(gè)切入口，開放題的引入，促進(jìn)了數(shù)學(xué)教育的開放化和個(gè)性化，從發(fā)現(xiàn)問(wèn)題和解決問(wèn)題中培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的創(chuàng)新精神和實(shí)踐能力。

關(guān)于開放題目前尚無(wú)確切的定論，通常是改變命題結(jié)構(gòu)，改變?cè)O(shè)問(wèn)方式，增強(qiáng)問(wèn)題的探索性以及解決問(wèn)題過(guò)程中的多角度思考，對(duì)命題賦予新的解釋進(jìn)而形成和發(fā)現(xiàn)新的問(wèn)題。近兩年高考題中也出現(xiàn)了開放題的“影子”，如1998年第(19)題：“關(guān)于函數(shù)f(x)=4Sin(2x+π/3)(x∈R)，有下列命題：①由f(x₁)=f(x₂)=0可得x₁-x₂必是π的整數(shù)倍；②y=f(x)的表達(dá)式可改寫為y=4Cos(2x-π/6):③y=f(x)的圖象關(guān)于點(diǎn)(-π/6，0)對(duì)稱；④y=f(x)的圖象關(guān)于直線x=-π/6對(duì)稱。其中正確的命題是_──(注：把你認(rèn)為正確的命題的序號(hào)都填上)”顯然《高中代數(shù)》上冊(cè)第184頁(yè)例4“作函數(shù)y=3Sin(2x+π/3)的簡(jiǎn)圖�！笨勺鳛槠湓�型。學(xué)生如果明白這些道理就會(huì)產(chǎn)生對(duì)問(wèn)題開放的需求，逐步形成自覺(jué)的開放意識(shí)。又如2000年理19文20題　 函數(shù)單調(diào)性的參數(shù)取值范圍問(wèn)題(既有條件開放又有結(jié)論的開放，條件上，對(duì)，是選擇，還是選擇？選擇前者則得，以后的道路荊棘叢生，而選擇后者則有，以后的道路一片光明；結(jié)論開放體現(xiàn)在結(jié)論分為兩段，一段上可使函數(shù)單調(diào)，另一段上不單調(diào)，且證明不單調(diào)的方法是尋找反例)；

從數(shù)學(xué)考試中引進(jìn)一定的結(jié)合現(xiàn)實(shí)背景的問(wèn)題和開放性問(wèn)題，已引起了廣大數(shù)學(xué)教育工作者的極大關(guān)注，開放題的研究已成為數(shù)學(xué)教育的一個(gè)熱點(diǎn)。
