in a hurry固定短語(yǔ),“倉(cāng)促地、匆忙地”。故in hurry之間加a。
故將her 改為him。
故用since。因此when 改為since。
疾楣潭ū磉_(dá)。

⑨考查固定短語(yǔ),go straight into固定短語(yǔ),“直奔、徑直”,因此去掉on。
故將what 改為how

According to statistics published by the University of Scranton, about 45 percent of Americans usually make New Year's resolutions—and the most popular resolution is losing weight. Of those who make resolutions, a mere 8 percent achieve them.
Are we just setting ourselves up for failure? Learn how to make realistic resolutions and how to overcome the roadblocks along the way.
Setting a resolution to lose pounds isn't a goal that's achievable now. It may be a good long-term goal. Registered dietitian Elisa Zied says “… to be real when you make a resolution. It's okay to shoot for the stars like making a resolution, but why not set a smaller goal and train smart?”
The same concept applies to weight loss. These goals should help develop healthy habits that will finally help achieve your long-term resolution.
Notice that these goals are simple and achievable. “Instead of going from zero to 60, from never going to the gym to going four to five times a week, why not start with three days a week, get consistent and build from there,” Zied says. Set yourself up for success and map out your course by making appointments with yourself to be active.
You also need to be aware of your current exercise and eating habits to make achievable goals. Keeping a diary of your food and exercise habits can help. Record everything you eat and drink for three to five days and review it. For example, if you notice a tendency to snack on unhealthy fare, set a goal to eat a fruit or vegetable with each snack. Building on these smaller goals over time can help you achieve your long-term goal.
A. So why do so many of us fail to achieve our goals?
B. Once you notice your not-so-good habits, start fixing them.
C. Set between one and three weekly goals that you want to achieve.
D. Resolutions usually involve a commitment to sticking to your goals.
E. However, in order to reach it, you need to take baby steps to get it down.
F. If you treat your goals like set appointment, you're more likely to achieve them.
G. Losing weight, as well as getting a better job, is among the most popular resolutions for adults.

Food safety is a problem in all places around the world and people in different areas of the world prepare foods in different ways. The WHO released five simple rules for preparing food in a safe way.
Key 1: Keep clean.
The first key tells about the importance of washing. People should wash their hands often—before touching food, while they are preparing food, and any time after they go to the toilet. People should wash all surfaces and equipment used for preparing food.
Key 2:
People should separate raw, or uncooked food from foods that are already cooked and foods that will not be cooked. People should store raw meat, chicken, and fish in containers, or in separate areas. Raw foods should not touch prepared foods.
Key 3: Cook completely.
People should cook eggs and meat, like birds, seafood, and animals, especially carefully. These foods may carry more micro-organisms than other foods. Food like soup must be boiled for at least a minute to make it be cooked completely. It is also important that people re-heat cooked food completely.
Key 4: Keep food at safe temperatures.
When people are finished with eating, they should keep the left food in a refrigerator below 5℃ and shouldn't store it for too long. At room temperature, about 20℃, the amount of micro-organisms can increase very quickly. They cannot grow as quickly in a very hot or very cold environment.
Key 5: Use safe water and raw materials.
Damaged or old food may develop harmful chemicals as it gets older.
A. Eat cooked food immediately, while it is still hot.
B. They call these rules the “Five Keys to Safer Food.”
C. Separate raw and cooked.
D. People should use safe water and choose fresh foods.
E. Keeping everything clean helps people to avoid micro-organisms.
F. People should also protect cooking areas and food from insects and animals.
G. But temperatures above 60℃ or below 5℃ control the growth of micro-organisms.

Many couples are quite puzzled about this question. How can lovers be devoted to each other for long? Actually, they just complain about their marriage to their partners all the time,not【1】(know) how to deal with the marriage crisis.
“Before we were【2】(marry),my husband was a caring man,“a wife once told me.“It seemed that he would love me till the end of the world.Since we got married,he【3】(become) a lazy bone.He watches ball games more than he watches me.He has changed so much that I can【4】(hard) bear him.”
“Very funny,”answered the husband.“But have you looked at yourself lately?Several years ago,you were very beautiful. Now you wear that old dress. If I've changed from【5】energetic man to a lazy one, then you've changed yourself from a【6】(beauty) lady to an ugly one.”This hurtful but childish【7】(argue) shows how couples, instead of looking for love, may look for all the【8】(fault) that his/her partner has in their daily life.
Honestly speaking, how we see our partners often depends more【9】how we are than how they are.It is a way of seeing.Husbands and wives are not audience【10】participant observers in each other’s life.Remember that the law of lasting love is to look at your lover with love.
