Go back to the present age of the, Internet and social media, anyone’s voice can be heard, and anyone’s face can be seen within seconds worldwide.
If you want to expand your incidence, online videos might be the answer. The online videos are very popular nowadays. Here are the facts: 432, 000 hours of videos are uploaded daily to YouTube. Running individual official accounts on social-networking app WeChat has become a new channel for Chinese people to express themselves, according to a survey.
At present, many media organizations, companies and individuals in China have launched official accounts on WeChat, making efforts to attract more subscribers to expand their reach. Over 66 percent of 2,001 respondents said they were willing to set up individual official accounts while 27.2 percent said they had already started such accounts.
The survey, published by the China Youth Daily, also said expressing feelings and views, as well as gaining popularity, was the top reasons why people wanted individual official accounts. More than half of individual official accounts offered content concerning personal views and feelings, as well as entertainment and recreation information, the survey said.
Of more than 540 respondents that have individual official accounts on WeChat, 5 percent claimed that they had built popular 'self-media' brands using the accounts, while 12.2 percent said they had made money from the accounts through advertising. 【題目】 Playdoh—just one of the many waggy-tailed (搖尾巴的) residents at the Scottish SPCA’s (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) rescue centre in Aberdeen shire -is being introduced to a new sensory garden, getting used to new surroundings.
It is really a dog’s playground -providing scent stimulation and exercise many of them haven’t experienced before. So, we do rescue lots of sort of, abandoned, abused animals—and this garden will help to rehabilitate them. It's going to enrich their life and it's going to give them skills that will help them in the future. And hopefully it will give them a bit more confidence and help them to find their new homes—which is the main aim.
In recent years- the North East (of Scotland) has become something of a hot spot for illegal animal activity. The puppies were born at the rescue center after their mother was taken into care following a recent raid in Moray. Some puppy farm dogs have never been out of a doghouse—so they haven't been outside, they haven’t even walked on grass.
The sensory garden is somewhere safe that they can come and learn these skills. This garden is really going to help them with their confidence and help them to socialize. Some of them haven't even learnt basic, basic skills- so this is really going to boost that for them.
The center currently has 22 dogs waiting for a forever home. But in the meantime, the sensory garden, a new space filled with new pleasant smells, surfaces and barriers, is preparing them for “walkies" outside the center.
