36-40 CAACD   41-45 DBCBB     46-50DADAC
38.A 考查動(dòng)詞短語(yǔ)辨析. turn up找到,發(fā)現(xiàn),翻轉(zhuǎn).開(kāi)大收音機(jī)或煤氣等,在這里是指翻到了父親的一張舊商業(yè)卡片.take up拿起,開(kāi)始從事于,繼續(xù),占據(jù)時(shí)間、空間;come up長(zhǎng)出,發(fā)芽,走近;pick up拾起,用車(chē)中途載客,偶然獲得.
42.B  考查詞義辨析.be pulled from the ground從地面上拔起來(lái).push推,推進(jìn),促使.
進(jìn)入…;lead…into…帶領(lǐng)…進(jìn)入…;take…to…帶…到…;bring…to…
本句是指大樹(shù)橫在街上,lie on the street.
所以用pull on the rope,push是推.
48..D考查短語(yǔ)辨析.  to push the spruce up把云杉扶起來(lái).put up舉起,打開(kāi)傘,搭起帳篷,張貼布告;pull up拔起樹(shù)、草,停止,阻止.這里with nle pulling…the great spruce是with短語(yǔ)做伴隨狀語(yǔ).修飾stood up.pulling和helping是現(xiàn)在分詞,在with短語(yǔ)中做賓語(yǔ)補(bǔ)足語(yǔ).
49..A 考查固定短語(yǔ).in no time 立刻,不久;in no way一點(diǎn)也不,決不.

9.Self-confidence is an attitude which allows individuals to have positive yet realistic views of themselves and their situations.Self-confident people trust their own abilities,have a general sense of control in their lives,and believe that,within reason,they will be able to do what they wish,plan,and expect.Having self-confidence does not mean that individuals will be able to do everything.Self-confident people have expectations that are realistic.Even when some of their expectations are not met,they continue to be positive and to accept themselves.
People who are not self-confident depend too much on the approval of others in order to feel good about themselves.They tend to avoid taking risks because they fear failure.They generally do not expect to be successful.They often put themselves down and tend to ignore compliments(贊美)paid to them.By contrast,self-confident people are willing to risk the disapproval of others because they generally trust their own abilities.They tend to accept themselves; they don't feel they have to conform (從眾) in order to be accepted.
Many factors affect the development of self-confidence.Parents'attitudes are crucial(關(guān)鍵性的) to children's feelings about themselves,particularly in children's early years.When parents provide acceptance,children receive a solid foundation for good feelings about themselves.If one or both parents are much too critical or demanding,or if they are overprotective and discourage children's moves toward independence,children may come to believe they are unqualified or inadequate.
Surprisingly,lack of self-confidence is not necessarily related to lack of ability.Instead it is often the result of focusing too much on the unrealistic expectations or standards of others,especially parents and society.Friends'influences can be as powerful or more powerful than those of parents and society in shaping feelings of one's self.Students in their college years reexamine values and develop their own identities and thus are particularly sensitive to the influence of friends.

21.Paragraph 1mainly talks aboutD.
A.the sources of self-confidence
B.the lack of self-confidence
C.the development of self-confidence
D.the benefits of self-confidence
22.According to the passage,self-confident people tend toD.
A.depend on others      B.control others   C.a(chǎn)void risks        D.be practical
23.Which of the following can we learn about self-confidence according to the passage?B
A.Self-confidence is usually the symbol of special abilities.
B.Parents and friends matter in building one's self-confidence.
C.College students are the least self-confident group in society.
D.Parents'protection prevents children's self-confidence development.
24.What might the author most probably continue to talk about in the following passage?C
A.How we can become more acceptable.
B.Lack of self-confidence has many side effects.
C.What one should avoid in building self-confidence.
D.What self-confident children usually get from parents.

9."Hello,Earth!Can you hear me?"That's voice more than 400,000 people received recently.It was from Philae,a space vehicle that landed on a comet(彗星)in 2014.However,its transmissions (傳輸信號(hào))back home went silent since then.
It took a 1ong time for Philae to make its way across the solar system (太陽(yáng)系)and reach comet 67P/C-G.The pace vehicle got there aboard the Rosetta probe (探測(cè)器),which has been circling around the comet since Philae separated from it in November,2014.
Philae's job was to collect materials to study the comet's composition.And for about two and a half days after landing,it did just that,sending the information back to scientists on Earth.But Philae's landing on the comet's icy surface had not been smooth.While touching down,it  jumped up and ended up in the shadow of something like a huge rock.Philae runs on solar power,but there was no light in the place where it landed.In the end,it failed to work.
However,as comet 67P/C-G moved closer to the sun,more sunlight reached the space vehicle,allowing it to power up and come back online.Philae then sent something to Rosetta,which passed on the information back to Earth.
"We only received the information for about 85seconds,but that's enough to let us know it is alive and well,"says Stephan Ulamec,who works for the European Space Agency."We hope to work out where it landed exactly on the 4-kilometer-wide comet.Now we plan to change how Rosetta moves so that Philae can keep on communicating and receiving instructions."

25.Hearing Philae's voice,those people must have feltC.
A.a(chǎn)fraid        B.calm        C.excited       D.worried.
26.According to the text,PhilaeD.
A.was damaged when it landed
B.moved around comet 67P/C-G
C.needs light and gas to keep working
D.helps scientists learn about a comet
27.What Stephan says in the text suggests thatB.
A.Rosetta will move around another comet
B.Philae will continue to work for scientists
C.most comets are as wide as four kilometers
D.he wonders whether Philae is still alive
28.What does the author mainly talk about in the text?A
A.A sleeping space vehicle wakes up.
B.It is very dangerous to travel in space.
C.A new comet was discovered recently.
D.Philae was sent into space successfully.
