It is one and a half years since I had left the junior high school.However,there is one thing what I'll never forget.Every day our teacher asked some of us to give an English speech in front of the classmate.I felt worried because my spoken English was poorer,so I turned to Miss Lee for help.She gives me not only some valuable advice but also encouragement.She suggested I spent some time practicing every day.I followed his advice.When it was my turn to make the speech,I spoke very confident.And much to my joy,my speech was great success.Through this experience,I know when we have difficulty we should never be afraid to ask others with some help.

It is one and a half years since I had left the junior high school.However,there is one thing what I'll never forget.Every day our teacher asked some of us to give an English speech in front of the classmate.I felt worried because my spoken English was poorer,so I turned to Miss Lee for help.She gives me not only some valuable advice but also encouragement.She suggested I spent some time practicing every day.I followed his advice.When it was my turn to make the speech,I spoke very confident.And much to my joy,my speech was∧great success.Through this experience,I know when we have difficulty we should never be afraid to ask others with some help.
解析:
1.去掉had.考查動(dòng)詞的時(shí)態(tài).It is one and a half years since I had left the junior high school比賽"自從我高中畢業(yè)已經(jīng)一年半了",所以since引導(dǎo)的從句用一般過去時(shí)態(tài),因此去掉had.
2.what改成that/which 或去掉what. 先行詞one thing在定語從句I'll never forget做賓語,所以用that/which 或省略關(guān)系詞.
主句She suggested 表示"她建議",所以從句的謂語動(dòng)詞用(should)do,因此用spend.
7.his改成her. 和上文She呼應(yīng)用her.
9.great前面加a.
10.with改成for.

I have stayed in that country since 1995.
They have lived in that house since two years ago.
I have loved her since I met her last time./Lily has stayed at home since she left school.
It's/It has been+一段時(shí)間+since+時(shí)間狀語從句"中,譯作"自從… It's/has been three months since he moved to this city.
Three months has passed since he moved to this city.

9.Gregory Kloehn digs through dustbins every day,but not for the reason that most people would think. He isn't homeless. In fact he is trying to help the homeless.
Gregory began his life as a sculptor. But he often felt that his sculptures, which just stood in rich people's houses for years, lacked a meaningful purpose. So in 2011 he decided to put his artistic energies into creating homes to sell-not ordinary homes but small structures built entirely from recycled materials.
The thought of creating homes for the homeless didn't occur to him until the year 2013,when a homeless couple asked him for a tarp(防水布).Instead of a tarp,Gregory offered them something better:a small home with a water tank,a kitchen and a trap(容器) for waste. They were so grateful that Gregory decided to focus his efforts on helping house the homeless population in his city. And soon his"Homeless Homes Project"was started.
Before starting a new home,Gregory, goes hunting for materials by digging through dustbins.Everything he finds is usable-refrigerator doors become house doors; washing machine doors often serve as windows, and the tops of cars become strong roofs. He put wheels at the bottom for users to move their homes around easily. Each home takes two to three days to make.
So far Gregory has donated dozens of homes to the city's most needy. While his small lowcost mobile homes are not the final solution to the problem of homelessness, they are really practical and do provide a warm and safe place for the homeless to stay in.They are simply a way for one man to do something nice for those in need of some help.
Gregory has written a book titled Homeless Architecture, where he explains techniques to build those homes and he is now working on weekend workshops."A lot of people who hear about what I'm doing want to get involved,"he said."Maybe we can meet someplace and put a couple of homes together."

10.A dog's mind is only equal to that of a two-year-old baby.(36)F So,they are probably the first to notice any change in the behavior of their masters.Let's do some deep-digging to understand the amazing ability of a dog.
They sense your feelings.Isn't it strange(37)EThis is true.A study published in the Animal Cognition(認(rèn)知)journal says that dogs are known to come to people who appear sad or depressed.It doesn't matter if the person is their owner or a stranger.They have an ability to sense sadness and are attracted to troubled souls.
(38)BDogs can easily tell when you're playing with favorites,and if you reward or play more with other pets,your dog might notice it and feel uncomfortable.As they can't say how they feel,they will scratch,yawn or lick their mouths.
They smell fear.Let's say you are faced with your worst fear.Would you get scared and run away or just face it?Before choosing how to deal with it,you should remember one thing.(39)DResearch shows that dogs often sense their master's response in dangerous situations.If you fear something and choose to back away,chances are that your pet is going to do the same thing.
They're watching you.We are all raised as responsible individuals who are taught to respect elders,obey the law and help out people in need from time to time.(40)GBut if you have a dog at home,it is time to be serious about them.Dogs like generous people.So just be careful around your pet; it may judge you on how you behave with others.

A.They sense health problems.
B.They understand when ignored.
C.They know when no one's looking at them.
D.You would be setting an example to your pet.
E.Every time you feel sad,your dog just knows it.
F.But dogs are able to sense everything around them.
G.However,not all of us take these three things seriously.
