These day, people break traffic rules and littered everywhere. It does serious harm with our life. I think people should make a effort to change this situation.

As for him, I will bear traffic rules in mind. If I ride a bike, I’ll never cross a road until the traffic light turn green. If I walk, I will forget to use the zebra crossing. Meanwhile, I will make it as my duty to help keep our environment clean or healthy. I will help clean up the roadside litter whenever possibly. I hope my behavior will make a difference.

根據(jù)前面的these 可知day要用復(fù)數(shù),故用days.

people break traffic rules and litter everywhere .break litter是并列的謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞,故也要用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)。主語(yǔ)是people,故.littered改為litter

3.with改為to

do harm to … 故.with改為to。

4.a改為an

名詞effort是元音開(kāi)頭的,要用不定冠詞an.,a改為an。

5.him改為me

As for him, I will bear traffic rules in mind.

I’ll never cross a road until the traffic light turn green.

7.添加never/not

故添加never/not.

8.刪去as

Meanwhile, I will make it as my duty to help keep our environment clean本句中it是形式賓語(yǔ),真正的賓語(yǔ)是后面的動(dòng)詞不定式,所以as 是多余的,故要?jiǎng)h去as。

9.or and

故要or and

I will help clean up the roadside litter whenever(it is )possibly只要有可能,我就幫忙清理路邊的垃圾。從句意可知whenever從句中省略了it is ,possible作從句的表語(yǔ),故possibly改為possible。

A drop in the sun’s radiation can cause cold winters in parts of North America and Europe, scientists say, a finding that could improve long-range forecasts and help countries 1 for storms.

Scientists have known for a long time that the sun has an 11-year cycle during which radiation from the sun reaches a(n) 2 then falls. But detecting a clear link of the cycle to the weather has proved much 3.

“Our research notices a link between solar activities and regional winter climate,” lead author Sarah Ineson of the UK Met Office told the reporters in an email.

Her team focused on the data from the recent minimum solar radiation period during 2008-10, which was a(n) 4 calm period for the sun but at the same time, 5 winters in the U.S and Europe were recorded which brought troubles to many businesses and made people’s lives difficult.

The researchers found that a reduction in radiation from the sun can affect wind patterns, 6 cold winters.

“While radiation levels won’t tell us what the day-to-day weather will be, they provide the exciting 7 of improved prediction for winter conditions for months and even years ahead. These predictions play an important role in long-term weather planning,” Ineson said.

Ineson’s team used the data in a complex computer to 8 long-term weather patterns. It successfully reproduced what scientists had observed happening in the upper atmosphere during changes in solar radiation. More study was needed, though. The key 9 in the experiment lay in the satellite data used, because it spans (跨度) only a few years.” So there are still questions concerning whether the current research results are accurate and whether they can be 10 to other solar cycles,” she said.

Dear Jack,

I’m sorry to hear that you feel lonely in the new school, because you find hard to make friends. Now, I’d like to offer you any advice.

Firstly, it’s normal for you to feel lonely because you were living in a new environment. Secondly, you should greet your classmates when met them on campus. Thirdly, it will be a good idea if you take an actively part in class activities, what can help them learn more about you. I believe you will be able to make new friends soon unless you’re friendly to the others.

I hope the suggestion above will be helpful to you and everything will be fine with you for the future.

Yours,

Li Hua
