The diverse cultural life of Africa has been expressed through everyday cooking objects and unique works of art since ancient times. The Museum’s collection of over 200,000 African items includes archaeological and contemporary material from across the continent.

The Iron Age was a time of big change for the people of Britain and Europe.Iron replaced bronze as the material used to make tools and weapons, while religion, art, daily life, economics and politics changed greatly.

The Museum is free and open daily 10:00-17:30 except Friday, and is open until 20:30 on Fridays, except Good Friday. The Museum is open every day except for 24,25 and 26 December and 1 January.

On a cold winter night, it was snowing heavily, a bus with 45 passenger had an accident because of the wet road. 【題目】Many blind people use guide dogs to help them get safely from place to place and to warn them of danger. But what can blind people do if they are allergic(過敏的) to dogs or just don’t like them? For these people, they can turn to the Guide Horse Foundation.

Janet and Don Burleson founded(成立) the organization in 1999. They began training miniature horses to help guide blind people. Miniature horses look just like common horses, only much smaller. They are generally less than 34 inches tall.

Cuddles was the foundation’s first guide horse in full service. She became 45-year-old Dan Shaw’s helper. Shaw has an eye disease and his sight is very poor. One night, while filling out a form to get a guide dog, Shaw heard a news story on TV about people training horses to guide the blind. Shaw loves horses and wanted a guide animal that would live a long time. So he applied(申請)，and a year later, Cuddles and Shaw began training as a team.

On a trip to New York, Cuddles helped Shaw safely visit many places of interest .They even traveled on a boat and on the subway system.

【題目】During the Winter Olympics in Sochi（索契）, 25,000 volunteers from Russia and other countries provided services for athletes and guests．The student Oksana Verkholyak helped translate Russian into English and Korean at the Games．She told us about their usual day．
