Last Sunday, I accompanied two of my foreign friends, Tom and Mary, around Chengdu so that they could get a feeling of the amazed city. We began by touring Kuan Zhai Alley that is known for its traditional Chinese architecture. I know the area very good so I acted as their tour guide. For lunch, I tried some Chengdu fried sauce noodles. Tom thought that they were in particularly delicious. Soon before lunch, we went to the Research Base of Giant Panda to pay a visit to the pandas. Both Mary and Tom fall in love with the lovely pandas. We finished off the day by going shopping, and they bought some paper cuts as souvenir. It was fantastic day and I hope they will come to Chengdu again.

Two years before, I was admitted to a high school. I felt proudly and superior. Therefore, I always looked down upon my classmates who turned for me in their studies. I have a bicycle that came to me as birthday present from my mum and dad when I was 12. It cost about 1,200 yuan, that was half of my father’s monthly salary. This term I joined in the Chinese painting club in our school. The members of our club met once a week. We have difference activities and I enjoy all of it. We’ve invited some well-known painters to a club to talk about the history of Chinese painting but teach us the basic techniques of drawing. Last week I went to visit to my former neighbor, Mr. Smith. He and I used to living next to each other for many years. About half a year ago, an order came which the old building, along with many other similar ones, were going to be pulled down to make room for the main street. So they had to move apart. Mr. Smith now lives in the suburbs near a beautiful park. His apartment is much big than before. The only problem is that it takes quite a long time get to the downtown area. Yesterday, I got hurt in a accident in the supermarket besides our school. I was just going around the corner while a strong man crashed into me with his shopping cart. It was impossible see each other before the accident because the corner was very dark and the lights didn’t even work. What’s more, the floor was very wet because it was rainy yesterday. So I fall, got knocked out and was serious hurt. Although the supermarket paid for the accident, but I still want to give some advices to the supermarket. Always get the lights checking at least once a week and make sure the floor is dry all the time, that would help make the supermarket a safer place.
